My fav glove
Love these, warm enough, and can still do some detail stuff with my fingers, can still run my crane while wearing them. Hold up well.

very stiff and somewhat slippery
I stock frozen for grocery store and these are ok. like all of these gloves they have weaker material on the sides of the fingers and it means fingers will get cold pretty fast. they are already super stiff might as well wrap the stronger material around the fingers. it feels like there is stiff cardboard on the palms so pretty good workout breaking them in. I really wouldnt use these for chainsaw seems like it would want to slip out of your hand unless there is really good grip on the saw. i am not chainsaw expert though.

Certainly Water Resistant, Dextrous Enough
They do well to keep my hands warm. I put the waterproofing to work when I had to retrieve some dropped screws from the bottom of my spring stream, hands stayed good and dry. Thicker gloves can be difficult to work in, and there's no exception they can still get in the way, but they're designed with movement in mind and I was still able to run screws and perform the majority of my work with relative ease without having to remove them. They seem plenty durable. I bought my father a pair for working in a lumber yard, he says they do well and they've held up through a couple winters now.

Sizes are kind of in-between.
So I first ordered the large which is my fit for pretty much any glove I've worn my whole adult life. These seem to run a little small in the large. While I could fit into the glove I couldn't actually close my hand all the way. They felt comfortable otherwise, so I gave the large pair to my girlfriend rather than return them, they seem to fit her well since she has huge hands for a girl her size. I went and re-ordered the XL which are a slightly better fit for me but actually slightly too large as there is a little bit of room in the fingers now but the palm fits perfectly. It's like the length of the fingers and the palm doesn't add up on either the large or XL. So with that settled the gloves are intended for cold weather, it's clear they work the moment you put them on, the material on the inside does tend to cling to your hand as you put the gloves on and take them off which is annoying but I don't think they would stay so warm if it wasn't for that material being snug on your hand. I would still recommend these but I would say for anyone to expect that you may need to return them and try a different size.

These have so far been the best I could find
I work in a Supermarket freezer, and have a lot of trouble finding gloves that offer enough grip for when our products get icy while still providing warmth and, of course, water resistance. These have so far been the best I could find, but they're most certainly not perfect. I've bought two pairs so far with the same results. One problem I have is that the grip on the fingers starts to peel away after a few weeks of use. Sizing is also weird, as I find no matter what size I've ordered, the fingers are always a little too long (especially the ring finger). They're also not as warm as I would have hoped, as I find that my hands still get cold and numb under 25 degrees, especially when I'm handling stuff with my hands, which is almost always. In terms of water resistance, they are not waterproof (these kinds of gloves never are, don't ever believe the advertisements that say otherwise), but they ARE highly water resistant. They only get wet inside if I'm really handling something watery, like when I have to pack out ice, and even then it's very minimal. I'm more likely to get the insides sweaty than I am to actually get water in them, and even for that, they are totally machine washable. All problems aside, these have so far been the best mixture of grip, warmth, and water resistance I could find, and they're certainly better than the crappy gloves the store tried to give us. If you buy them, I suggest getting a glove liner to go with them to help keep your hands a little warmer, and like all gloves, make sure your hands are warm BEFORE you put them on, otherwise they really won't be able to do their job right.

This glove fits my needs
I purchased these gloves and surprisingly they came the next day (thank you Amazon!) So I decided to put these gloves to the test during this Wednesdays Nor'easter. Since I work outside and it was raining very hard and the wind picked up, I wanted to wear these gloves and see if they worked. These gloves looked and felt well made. The velcro strap on the bottom worked well to keep any water from seeping into the glove. Once outside and working, it kept my hand dry. My hands were a bit cold, but the main thing was that my hands were comfortable and dry. That's what I wanted. Even after taking a break and squeezing the excess water (these gloves on the outside gets wet like any other glove), the fleece lining still felt dry. The insides were not soggy or clammy. They felt good.I also have the Black Stallion 5LWP work gloves and compared them. If you are outside and do not have to take them off at any time, the Black Stallions will keep your hands warmer, until you have to take them off for any reason. Once wet inside, they lose their efficiency and will make your fingertips feel damp. Plus they are more bulkier - better for snow and cold weather than rain. At least with these Youngstown gloves you have better dexterity and movement with these, where you wont have to take them off for most tasks. (I can almost write with these on)Bottom line, I would give them a good review if you are working in wet weather. If not, the Black Stallions or the B.A.G.G. gloves work if you are out in extreme cold and don't need the dexterity.

Not a good buy
second pair as stitching on finger came undone on first pair (replaced by company) however the stitching has come away on some of the seams on this pair. Not worth the money - very disappointed .

Nice but not warm enough!
The quality of these gloves is really good and they are very comfortable and flexible. However I was trying to work outside using them at temperaures of about 0 to 2 celsius and my hands were freezing within about 10 minutes. If it wasn't for that part I would have loved to keep them but I really need warm fall work gloves and these are just not cutting it.
