Satisfying peanut butter bites, very little cookie dough flavour
These are fairly satisfying chunky protein lumps, but they’re a little bit awkward. The crumbled peanuts on the outside tend to fall off, and they end up being a bit messy compared to a more typical chocolate-bar-shaped protein bar. However they’re each individually quite weighty and feel like a full snack in their own right. Though the flavour on the packet says ‘cookie dough’, the flavour is definitely peanut butter. At the core there’s a lump of pure smooth peanut butter, while the rest of it has both the taste and some texture of a crunchy peanut butter. The cookie dough flavour doesn’t make an appearance at all, in my opinion, to the extent that I had to check the labelling on the packet to make sure I hadn’t been sent the wrong ones. I can’t comment on the value of them as I write this review, as they’re out of stock so the price isn’t showing, but I believe they’re typically a bit over a quid per protein ball- which makes them typical and average compared to other brands, which is also true of the amount of protein content that’s in them as well. So they’re a fairly standard four star middle-of-the-road protein snack in my view, but if you’re specifically drawn to the idea of a cookie dough flavour, then you’ll be disappointed.

Delicious
I bought 3 versions of these. The flavours were Cookie Dough, Caramelised Biscuit, and Maple Pecan Cashew. With the exception of the latter, they all have a peanut butter core and taste quite similar. Note that unlike a lot of these "protein ball" snacks, these are shaped as one big lump, rather than smaller individual pieces. They are essentially pieces of flap-jack, so if you've tried that, it gives you an idea of what to expect from the general shape/texture. I'll share my thoughts on each flavour, below: Cookie Dough: The first one I tried and probably my favourite. Soft, moist, lovely peanut butter core. The cookie dough is well-balanced with the peanut butter, and it's just generally very easy to eat. So much so, I ate two packets in one go.... Caramelised Biscuit: These taste similar to the cookie dough, but are more like a traditional flap-jack. The biscuit is shaped in little pieces, mixed in around the outer coating of oats. The core is still the same peanut butter. Not as soft as the cookie dough flavour as a result of the biscuit, but still very enjoyable. Maple Pecan Cashew: This one differs in that it has a cashew/nut filling, rather than peanut butter. In reality, they taste pretty similar. The outer coating is a maple/pecan flavour, and tastes quite different to the other two as a result. As someone who loves maple pecan bakes, this isn't a bad thing. Texture wise, it's a cross between the cookie dough (softest) and the biscuit (hardest). Again, these will definitely get eaten quickly in our household. Overall, they're probably the nicest of those protein-marketed bars I've tried here on Amazon. Everyone here enjoyed them immensely and they come in a nicely packaged box, which protects the individual sachets from getting squashed in transit.

Really Dry
These are no where near as good as the classic bounce balls. I recommend buying one before going after a whole box!

Ok Bounce Cookie Dough Protein Balls
The Bounce Cookie Dough Protein Balls offer a high-protein snack option with a unique flavour profile that will be familiar to those who regularly consume high-protein foods. However, this distinctive "protein" taste, coupled with the peanut butter flavour, tends to overshadow the advertised cookie dough essence. The texture is notably chewy, which might be a plus for some, but it could be a drawback for others due to the potential jaw fatigue after consuming even a single ball. Additionally, the coating of peanut bits tends to fall off, creating a bit of a mess during consumption. Each box contains 12 individually wrapped balls, making it a convenient option for on-the-go snacking. The product is allergen-free aside from containing nuts and soy, making it suitable for those with gluten or dairy intolerances, and it's vegan-friendly. The main ingredient is date paste, with 28% peanuts and almonds. The ingredient list appears natural and wholesome. The balls consist of a cookie dough-flavoured blend of dates, almonds, and peanuts, filled with peanut paste and covered in peanut bits. Despite the heavy use of date paste, the sweetness is surprisingly restrained, and the overall taste is reminiscent of a Marathon/Snickers bar, albeit drier. Each ball provides a substantial 8.1g of protein and contains 180 , making it a decent choice for a protein-rich snack. With a best-before date around seven months away, these protein balls have a reasonable shelf life.

Delicious & filling PB snack balls!
These are actually a lot tastier than I could have expected. They're just a little bit smaller than a golf ball and are all individually wrapped. Each snack ball is basically flavoured cookie dough. The one I tried was peanut butter flavour. It was coated in little pieces of nuts and, inside, it had actual PB. I feel like the cookie dough itself was flavoured like peanut butter but despite all of this, it wasn't as much of an over-powering, overly sweet flavour as you'd think. The ball has 3 different textures (slightly crunchy outside, soft cookie dough and slightly gooey PB in the middle). These textures make each bite unique and delicious. The flavour is genuinely great, definitely strong peanut butter but the style you'd find on a Reese's cup: it is not too nutty and has a nice well-balanced sweetness to it. I found this snack to be very filling despite not being a fairly small snack in size. I am enjoying these on my break at work and they keep full and energised until dinner time.
