The perfect little knife for someone who doesn't want to carry a knife
Anyone who carries a knife will tell you how handy it is to have one at the ready, how surprisingly often they reach for it each day, but not everyone wants to deal with carrying one in their pocket. Or, some might often wear leggings that don't even have a pocket, or prefer to carry a tine little clutch instead of a full-sized purse. For those people, this knife is perfect, attached to a keychain or dropped into the aforementioned clutch, it's always handy and so small you don't even notice you have it on you.

Great little knife, even if it wasn't a keychain
I like it!It's sharp, I mean, the blade is really sharp!I got a Gerber with a craft knife blade in it when I got this... this is sharper! It's sturdy enough for the job, I mean it's a tiny light weight knife... I think you wouldn't have to really abuse it too much to break the hinge, but it's not meant to pry with, it's for cutting, and it does that very well.did I mention how sharp it is? LOL :DIt's not a heavy buck knife so don't expect to be chopping down trees or cutting through the undergrowth with it, but it is definitely perfect to have handy when you need a reliable, sharp and sturdy little blade. The design is really well thought out, it looks really nice in person and the addition of a bottle opener? what's not to like?Great little knife! 10/10

Sog key chain knife
Great little tool, does take up to much space in the pocket and stays sharp for a while.

Sweet keychain knife!
Review of SOG Keytron keychain knife. Had this knife for a week, tested it and really am impressed. It came shaving sharp, the blade centering is dead on and the keyring is better than I hoped. Fit and finish is good apart from some rough grinds like inside the cut out section of the blade. Keyring really seems robust to me for a twenty dollar knife. Small pin near base of keyring slides to release keyring similar to an axis lock on Benchmade. The beer cap lifter works well but it is also the lock release for the blade. The lock seems robust and snaps into place but after opening hundreds of beers will it hold up? Only time will tell. Four stars would have loved better steel like AUS 8 and cap lifter on lock release could be damage through use. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend for 20 dollar option. I included product photos.Update: after a year or so I noticed the keychain was causing my keys and key fob to get scratched by the edge/corner of the scales where the ring connects to handle. Also I have had it open several times in my pocket. I will no longer be using it every day for car keys but will keep and use it attached to a flashlight. Deducted one star for sharp edge scales scratching my keys.

SOG Keytron Keychain Folding Pocket Knife
This a super nice pocket knife/keychain. I use to collect knives like K-Bar, Buck but they were too big to carry around. I had a super nice Gerber locking blade, but I lost it somehow. SOG makes some big knives also and is known for its quality. This knives is razor sharp right out of the box. Cost is $20 and well worth it. Too bad it’s now made in China.

Declining Build Quality
I had one of these for several years and loved it! Great knife, perfect size, easy to remove from my keys when I went to bar or sporting event. I added & removed it from my keys at least once a week for YEARS.Unfortunately, I lost the knife recently. I ordered a replacement, which lasted about 3 days before the bolt securing the keyring fell out. This part is too tiny to find or replace.I thought the 2nd knife was a fluke, and immediately ordered a 3rd knife. This one doesn't even have the bolt to secure the keyring.Still a good knife, just not for your keys.

Good idea, terrible execution
Ideal EDC knife for restrictive jurisdictions except that for some idiotic reason the key loop has a spring release catch that opens up under even light pressure. Why does the keyring need a catch release at all, ITS MEANT TO SLIP ON, AND OFF, A KEYRING EASILY. AND IT DOES. The release just means it will fall off your keyring randomly in your pocket, on the street, in the car, etc. AND IT DOES.

Ordering a 2nd one
I like to travel light, so was on the hunt for a small/light tool that I could have with me at all times. This fit the bill. The locking ring is easy enough to remove before heading to the airport, but secure enough not to fall off or pull apart. The blade is very sharp, and still sharp after nearly a year of light use (TBH, mostly breaking down amazon boxes 😂). The blade is very short- not really suited for 'tactical' use without risking cutting yourself, but would be good enough in a pinch I presume. The bottle opener is a little tricky due to how narrow it is, but works with some practice.Build quality is solid. No rust. Buying a 2nd one for the other set of keys!Update (11APR2019): The 2nd blade has arrived, and comparing them, the old unit looks as good as the brand new one! That speaks to the good durability and hardness of this thing - after taking the daily abuse of being on my keychain.
