I built a table top with Microjig dovetail grooves and needed additional clamps. These clamps work very well and have really made my woodwork much easier with clamping pieces as needed. These clamps are wonderful to use if you have the proper dovetail grooves.My only issue with this order was that it took Amazon three tries to get it right. This is a four pack of clamps (2 piece, 2 pack = 4 pieces) but for some reason the order fulfillment was wrong twice before they got it right.

These are somewhat smallish size clamps.My 6" bar clamp, one of the smallest I use, seems much more substantial both in the build and weight of the bar itself and clamping jaws as compare to this one. It is difficult to judge the size of the clamp on the picture and I am not returning it but just for a comparison 6" clamp at HF is $3.99, compare to $20 each for this one. Yes it is a brand name item, but in the end the manufacturing cost of it is not 5 times more even with lower production volumes.It has a unique application, in particular, I will be using it to build table saw and router table fence extensions where bar clamps are not a substitute. In the end the price of every tool has to be compared to its use. I will try to update this review once I have tried these clamps and can comment on how well they work.Update 2/12/24 - I have made two fence extensions: one in a 3/4" particleboard and another one with 3/4" plywood. Took may be 30 min to measure, setup the router table and cut v grooves. Clamps fit well into grooves and the extensions are easy to use. However this contraption barely fits my Vega table saw fence. This is where 2-3 inches would make a considerable difference in the convenience and capabilities of the set.

I bought these as part of the Matchfit system. So far I have only used these for a couple of things: to clamp things to the front of my assembly/work table and to attach a sacrificial fence on the table saw. They work great and I have plans for a lot more uses. BTW, shellac works well as a finish in the dovetail grooves -- doesn't cause sticking or swelling.

This is a brand-name item that needs no introduction. I got four of them for $80 which is a good deal they’re the best made of their kind.If you buy them one by one I believe they’re too expensive and there are other options on the market but this four package deal for $80 was a good deal so I purchased it, no regrets.

These clamps can do more than just work in microjig track system.I've used them in dog holes, as F clamps, and in ways that were probably never intended. Think of them as doghole clamps that can also be used as microjig clamps.

Great product.Made jig boards from their instructions, use for sanding and on the table saw for angle cuts.

Makes life in the shop so much easier. I made a temporary work bench to try them out & am using my temp bench more than my real bench. Time to modify my real bench.
