Grows with ease
I had cut the bag open to spread and got detained. Two days of downpours got them soaked in the bag. Decided to just scatter them anyway and in 3 days I had green fuzz..less than one week they had covered the area distributed. Excellent product

Follow the suggestions, performed as advertised.
I'm not a review writer. I logged on to get more seed and read a bad review. This product is exactly what you think it is. I followed the suggestions and watched for the weather to meet the cool nights and warm days; I watered 3 times a day for 15 minutes each session. We couldn't be happier with the performance. Our small field looks like a park, green and full of clover. There were some things I wish I had done differently. I didn’t look into killing all grass remnants, so I now have a healthy mix of grass and clover in some areas.Secondly, I sowed by hand, which is why I am back buying more. I have bare spots. I was unable to get the coverage I was expecting manually. Here are some facts you should know.I am in SoCal, so it is almost always planting weather.I literally threw seed in OCT2024 at about 79 degrees, and nights dipped into the 60’s.We had green patches in 2 daysThe field was a horse pasture before we bought the place, so the quality of the soil was pretty good. The area was recently cleared of dry brush but not turned or prepared in any way.I’m not a farmer or gardener, so this was an amateur reading and following instructions gathered from many sources.

too much dirt exposed
I have a large empty area of exposed dirt and it's dusty. This is low growing and makes a great ground cover, as well as providing much needed nutrients back into this baren area. Low maintenance and looks neat.

No growth. Seeds were not viable. 0 stars
It’s been almost two weeks since I used the seeds on a blank field. I added a fresh layer of topsoil and watered regularly. I only see where 2 clovers sprouted and nothing else. This is why I am always hesitant to order seeds from Amazon. I have no idea how long they have sat on their shelves or if they were stored properly. Very disappointing.

Germinated fast. Grew well.
Tennessee's terrible summer weather killed these after they germinated and tried to grow. They were adorable. I will try again later in the year to avoid the summer drought and heat.

The seeds germinated in 3 days!
They germinate very quickly, and were perfect to fill spots in the lawn from a drought we had this summer.I decided to do an entire portion of my lawn with this. It is perfect for my clay soil, and since it drought resistant, I cannot wait to see how it does next summer. Also I dislike mowing, and this will cut down on time spent mowing.

So far, so good to grow in my mulch bed!
I have about 60 crepe myrtles and cypress that I had put in about 3 years ago, and they have a mulch covering with a drip line irrigation. I really hate the mulch look and want it to look more natural, but to protect my investment, I went with the recommendation of mulch. Now that they're are pretty well established, I wanted to try to grow grass, but all try to keep the mulch, but also need it to be low maintenance to not need as much mowing between the trees as the rest of the yard. I found these micro/mini clover and decided to try throwing it out when we would have rain off and on for a few days to see if it would grow. The seeds are ridiculously small and I ended up throwing them out by hand through my mulched areas and bare spots in the ground. I threw them out after it rained, and it has rained off and on since then. 2 days later, I found that the seeds had started opening, which is the first picture. Then today, 5 days after I threw them down, there's tiny clover everywhere!! It's in the bare areas and popping up through the mulch! I'm expecting to need to thrown down some more where it may have run off, but this is a great start!!! Hopefully I'll have the best of both worlds - mulch to keep my investments covered to keep rain in, and tiny clover groundcover over it to look more natural and appealing to my eye.

Mountain valley seed co- clover
The first time I purchased this, it seemed like the seeds were coated with something. The sprouted in 3 days. Was very pleased. The second time I ordered these the seeds were tinier with no coating. They didn’t germinate as well. Hope that my third order will be the good kind—coated seeds. If the third shipment is good, I’ll go back to 5 stars.
