Handy for shopping and other erands
I cycle to the shops and between places, and needed a rucksack that was big, light weight and versatile. I have used the rucksack also when it is raining and everything inside was dry. It is very big and I can go shopping now and not have to worry about not being able to fit in everything, or worse have to carry items separately and make the cycling more dangerous. I use it far more often than I expected to, as it is much safer to be able to carry items. It much more useful than I expected. My son also borrowed it when he went skiing. Only thing is being careful when filling it up as the weight of the contents mean it will be harder to lift.

Solid buy for the price
Bought this backpack for going to a music festival, so it had to be durable and carry as much as possible. Weight wasn't a huge issue as it was mainly for clothes, battery packs, etc. and all of the heavier items such as cans and bottles were packed separately.Filled each compartment to the brim, everything held up. Okay it wasn't the most comfortable experience ever, and could probably do with a little more padding, for what it cost (£29.99) I can't really complain much!Didn't get a chance to test out how waterproof it was as it was dry for us arriving and leaving the festival (although not inbetween!) so can't comment on how well / not so well it performs.Karabar Makalu 80 Litres Travel Backpack, Black

Would Recommend for Travellers / Festival Goers - Good Value for Money £££!
I used this Rucksack for a 2 week trip around Thailand (island hoping). I was very concerned whether the rucksack would survive the trip, however, since returning I can confirm that the rucksack was brilliant value for money and lasted my whole trip in tact. It was exposed to the elements as I went in the the rainy seasons, furthermore, it was loaded (tossed around) frequently on to boats, car, buses and various planes and still survived the ordeal. The space inside is very good, and the rucksack has good rigidity out of the box, keeping it's shape was valuable when re-packing my rucksack. I would advise that you also add a waterproof cover as the bag wasn't completely waterproof. I would recommend this rucksack for travellers and festival goers, however, if you're planning on scaling mountains or hiking for very long periods of time you might want to opt for a rucksack with slightly more padding on the straps.I read the reviews prior to purchasing and was really worried from the negative feedback, especially given the cheap price of the rucksack and the thought of it breaking whilst in a remote place. I would however like to confirm that these review are simply not true (in my own experience), I can only assume these people either expect a £20 rucksack to be as good as a £100+ professional mountaineering rucksack or they just had bad luck with receiving a faulty product (which can happen). My response to people who are sitting on the fence would be to give it a go, I think you'll be satisifed!Hope this helps.

Decent rucksack for the money
I used this rucksack for camping at festivals. I was able to pack everything I needed and more, plenty of room. It is water resistant, not completely waterproof. The straps could have been tighter, but maybe seemed loose because I am quite small. After five uses, it needed replaced as the handle had broken and the straps started to tear.

Phenomenal value
I bought this backpack specifically for the Download festival and due to the price I paid for it my expectation of it was very low. On receiving it I thoroughly checked it over to see any signs of poor quality but could find none at all. The only difference I could see between this and a bag costing £70 more was that it doesn't have a non sweat back "system" and the waist belt has less padding. I wasnt bothered about that in the least. I loved the backpack.Prior to the festival I filled the sack to the brim and attached two camping chairs to the sides using the straps. It took a lot of gear and the various pockets on the sides and front along with the straps were so useful. I only actually walked a mile or so each way carrying the sack but it was pretty heavy. Despite this it was extremely comfortable to carry with the waist and chest belts distributing the weight well. After returning I checked the sack over and found no damage.I don't do long cross country expeditions anymore so can't test this as thoroughly as some might wish but I would be confident in doing so.I simply live this product and it easily represents the best value for money purchase I've ever made.

Worth it
I've had it for months and frankly, best purchase of the year. I no longer need to push or pull a suitcase around. It has so many compartments and no matter how heavy it gets (thinking about 27kg) i could carry it and no tears formed through a 3 hour journey involving a lot of taking off and putting on (obviously 27kg is a lot for my shoulders ahaha). Great product!

Poor quality
Bought this a month ago and first was pleased with it but after using it once it already broke. Size is good but no back support makes it hard to carry it for longer. One of the straps ripped a hole into the side of the Rucksack when I tried to tighten it. Really bad quality unfortunately

Brilliant bag that fits a lot in
Brilliant bag that fits a lot in, perfect for a festival. However it isn't very waterproof, it rained at the festival and as i was walking all my stuff inside got a little damp. May recommend buying a waterproof cover for it just in case.
