Snaps have a strong hold and are easy to install.

We put some slip on seat covers on our outdoor barstools. They were a little loose so we put a couple of snaps in them to pull the slack but it still allows us to remove for washing. Worked out pretty nicely.

The snaps are fine, but the pliers are made of soft metal which spreads under pressure, causing the locking latch to slide inside and get stuck. I had to put the whole thing in a code and squeeze it back together.

It has proven to be quite effective for its primary use with fabric. The tool and fasteners worked seamlessly together, making the process of installing snaps on fabric straightforward and hassle-free.However, I encountered some challenges when using the tool with 2mm thick leather. The snap fasteners did not easily penetrate the leather on their own, and would bend and not lock into the other side when using the crimping tool. To get the tool to work effectively, I had to first hammer the fasteners into the leather to create an initial indentation before using the crimp tool. This extra step was necessary to ensure that the snaps were properly set and secure.While the tool performs well for fabric applications, those looking to use it with thicker materials like leather should be prepared for some additional manual preparation. Despite this, the overall quality of the tool and its effectiveness with fabric make it a good addition to my toolkit, especially for lighter and more straightforward projects.

The snap pulled out after 3 times of snapping tried several different times to get it to stay in but still won't stay in the fabric.

Low quality snaps. Metal is flimsy. Doubt the snaps will hold up to repeated use.

This is a great kit, I love it!
