Wonderful! Ridiculously easy to install. Surprisingly comfortable. PROS: - Comfortable - Well crafter with thoughtful design - Stay well attached to hands with adjustable straps - Perfect for improved and comfortable puppeting of VRChat avatars CONS: - Textured silicone may gather hand oils over time These controller covers with hand straps arrived carefully packaged with components in two separate bags to prevent damaging the silicone covers. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Me being a guy didn't looks at them until after installation, but everything is very, very simple. If you've ever removed the battery cover from your controller, you know 80% of the installation process. The product description says something about the hand straps being made of some sort of "leather". Well, it's definitely not organic, but have a pleasant texture and feel easy to clean. The hook-abd-loop ("Velcro") closure is the very short pile, smooth kind. The straps are wisely riveted through eyelets cast into the silicone, to prevent tearing. The texture molded into the silicone is not rough note distracting, as the diamonds of the crosshatch pattern are depressed instead of raised. I'm a little concerned these will catch hand gunk and build up over time, but a responsible owner will periodically clean this with soapy water and a toothbrush every month or two to combat build up. The silicone surface of the faceplate sides and top have no texture, for smooth and comfortable operation of controls. This is a smart feature That greatly contributes to comfort. Custom battery doors are included That feature a hole through which the battery may be removed. These are intentionally manufactured with black plastic for aesthetics and to make it clear They are not the original controller covers. The hole in the cover is smaller than the battery I believe to keep the access door as small as possible and also to help prevent the battery from potentially joseling loose. Because the hole is smaller than the battery, removing the battery will be difficult to impossible without removing the silicone cover, for this reason, a battery pull tab has been included and pre-installed. It was very impressed to see the package contains four additional battery pull tabs in case the originals break. This product design is thoughtful and refined. It is important to install the provided battery covers for two reasons: 1. The silicone flaps are designed to clip into NB secured by the battery cover. 2. Safety wrist straps WILL NOT stay securely attached without the battery cover installed. When using the hand straps, controllers adhere more firmly than I expected. They feels similar to Vive finger tracking controllers. There is a bit of wobble, but much less than expected. See my video for reasonable wobble testing. (If you are violently thrashing your hands about without gripping the controllers, you're clearly doing something wrong.)

They're very good they're not only very comfortable but very durable. The grip on them is slick but still has enough friction to stay on. For the price the build quality is amazing. I got them installed in minutes and they hold the controllers very well. And overall I rate this product a 9.8/10 the only thing that I would chance able this is maybe have a bit more reinforcement around the top of the controllers are specifically around near the tracking spots that way it prevents damage to those parts of the controller though besides that it's a perfect product would recommend for a friend.

IF you have the stock grips from meta that comes with the quest 3/3s, you will NOT regret this purchase. I personally am not a big fan of the cord that is used on the meta controllers. They remind me of the Nintendo Joy cons and the Wii remote cords that you use to prevent them from flying out of your hand. They are so bad, these grips that are similar to the valve index controllers, are way better. The comfort and quality are just substantially better. It is very easy to adjust them to your hand size, and it is also easy to get the batteries in and out of the controller, just make sure the pull tab is laying beneath the battery, otherwise you will have to pry it out with your hand or with a screwdriver. Had it happened to me. If you play for an extended amount of time, your hands will start to fatigue, and you can somewhat let the controller hang thanks to the grip if you need a second. Definitely worth the money spending on this

We got these for our son. Comfort 10/10 Quality 10/10 Ease of Battery access 100/10 Durability 10/10 These are perfect for your everyday VR gaming or usage, they fit great in your hand, not crazy of a price for the quality you are getting, adjustable to fit, and the best of all…ITS SO MUCH EASIER to get to the batteries instead of having to pull off the dreaded covers. 10/10 would buy again and definitely recommend it for everyone.

I use my Quest 3 for fitness, and I get the controllers pretty sweaty during a session. I love that I can simply remove the silicone covering and wash them now. I chose not to use covers on my old Quest 2, so I know what happens to controllers after prolonged use. Gross! While the straps that secure the controllers to the hands are not made of the most comfortable material, they don't feel irritating while using them. I like that I don't have to maintain a tight grip on the controllers which helps reduce hand fatigue. Finally I really appreciate the battery cutouts for easy access to change my rechargeable batteries. Not so fond of the plastic strip that helps eject the battery. I don't find I have any difficulty getting the batteries out without it, so for me it's not necessary and just an extra thing to move out of the way.

These work great. They work for both oculus 2&3. I bought two sets for my son. He never used the original strings that came with the controllers and he’d always end up flinging one across the room. These straps help protect the controllers as well as keep them in their hands. The Velcro straps also adjust for different hand sizes.

I love these covers for the Quest 3 controllers. I had the same ones for my Quest 2 and IMO they are essential for comfortable usage. The custom battery opening makes changing batteries very accessible and convenient, without having to remove the covers. The material feels high-quality and they sit great in the hand. I combine them with a Kiwi Design Elite Headstrap for maximum comfort.

Kiwi is well known in the VR world for making quality products. These are great and add a lot of comfort and grip to the Q3 controllers. I’m a long time VR player and so I ordered these at the same time I ordered my Q3 because I consider controller grips to be an essential upgrade. Once you try them, there’s no going back to “naked controllers”. The only minor complaint (not even worth removing a start for though) is that the knuckle strap would be more comfortable if it were also made of the same grippy silicone as the grips themselves. It’s not that the existing one isn’t comfy. It’s just that the previous grips I had for my Q2 controllers had the knuckle straps much wider and also made of silicone and they felt a little bit better. This is just a small little nitpicky thing for the makers to consider in their design next time around.

I love these. They are great for grip, and the straps are the best feature. KIWI never disappoints.

Ich habe die Kiwi Design Handgriffe für meine Quest3-Controller gekauft und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Griffe bieten nicht nur einen deutlich besseren Halt als die originalen Handschlaufen, sondern ermöglichen es auch, die Hand während des Spielens zu öffnen, um die Handinnenfläche zu "lüften" – das macht längere Sessions viel angenehmer. Der praktische Akkudeckel macht das Wechseln der Batterien einfach und komfortabel. Die Bänder waren anfangs etwas steif, aber nach kurzer Nutzung wurden sie schnell bequemer. Insgesamt wirken die Griffe hochwertig und langlebig – eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber anderen, günstigeren Alternativen, die bei mir schnell kaputtgingen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist der Preis: 23,99 Euro (im November 2024) sind im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Produkten zu hoch. Fazit: Hochwertige Griffe, die Komfort, Schutz, Flexibilität und Funktionalität bieten – trotz des höheren Preises eine lohnende Investition.
