C.J. Dannemiller Peanuts in the Shell, Bulk 10 LB Box, Fancy Size, Roasted, Salted

The peanut roasting quality is high and consistent. It's on the saltier side which I like. The packaging is just a heavy duty plastic bag with a twist tie around it in a labeled cardboard box. Not presentable, but certainly functional for a serious peanut eater or some commercial use where peanuts are served. Please note in the attached picture that about half the nuts have been used already.

Best roasted peanuts I've had in a long time. I don't know why, but they are hard to get in my local grocery store. And the quality is not as good. These are roasted and salted just right, for my taste anyway. Probably will buy again.

I actually ordered these salted peanuts by mistake, I meant to get the unsalted for my outdoor critters. OMG~ they are really good peanuts! Super fresh! My husband took some to his employees at work, everyone loved them. Highly recommend.

I’m satisfied with purchase, however they are smaller than I would think based on description. They could have been roasted just a tad more. I am 89 and remember peanuts roasted in the shell as being much larger than these and was a little disappointed when received. One other thing was that the integrity of the shell was not very substantial and disintegrated into pieces. A little darker roast provides more nutty flavor which is not the case here. It’s hard to be critical in this day and age as environments are changing and things are more complex and costly.

I have been buying store-brand salted shelled peanut garbage for years at local supermarkets. And none of them can even hold a candle to these C.J. Dannemiller brand Peanuts! I have been left in AWE at just how incredible these salted/roasted peanuts taste. The quality, the consistency of the roast, the even distribution of the flavor, and the fact that virtually all the shells themselves are in great shape. Very few broken or empty shells. Overall, these are by far the best value for salted whole shelled roasted peanuts. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

If you are tired of being disappointed with the peanuts available at your local grocery store (which we definitely were) you MUST give these peanuts a try. They are properly roasted with (and in our case) just the right amount of salt and VERY few broken or empty shells. What a pleasure! Delivery was quick and supporting a small business with excellent customer service is always a good thing.

My brother asked for some peanuts in May, so I ordered some to arrive at the time of our family reunion. Turns out that 10 lbs is a LOT of peanuts! He still has some, he sent some home with me. They weren't stale in May, and at the end of August they still aren't stale. He enjoys shelling and eating them while listening to baseball games on the radio. Old-fashioned fun. Would definitely buy again (if we ever run out! lol).

Tasty, quite peanutty, legume, commonly referred to as a "nut". Peanuts have the highest protein content of the commonly consumed nuts. Protein takes longer to digest, and hence gives one a "full" feeling curbing snacking on junk foods of all manner. These little gems are in the shell, making them very handy for putting in a bowl to leave out for snacking. The shells make great compost or can be used as mulch, drives the squirrels crazy, they can smell the peanuts, but its all empty shells. Can report I have had no problems with elephants in the yard despite the mounds of peanut shells gracing the base of many trees and plants. Tasty, ecologically sound packaged in their own organic shells, a marvel of nature, a tasty treat, shelf stable and require virtually no maintenance. 10lbs of peanuts, a King's bounty waiting on a shelf. Life is good...
