Great kites!
2 very nice, good quality kites. Comes with very long string - easy to set up and they both fly well. Perfect for children ages 5+ as they are lightweight and fun designs. The string can tangle easily so be careful when storing

GREAT CHOICE
I bought this kite to fly near the seaside where I was sure it to be windy. The kite is really easy to put together and I flew this kite every single day of my holiday. It is very attractive and was a joy to myself and passers by the height it gained and the way the tail wriggled around as if flew. After the flight it was very easy to take a few of the bars out and I easily fitted the whole kite plus crossbars into an empty Co Op carrier bag. I loved the fact it was so easy to transport as sometimes you dont want to carry loads of stuff around and the next day it took seconds to re construct. I would say it would be great for anyone who enjoys kites. From beginer to expert (like myself) this kite was worth every single penny that I paid to purchase it. Definately would recommend !!!

Easy to fly. Looks fabulous. Good size.
Both flew fantastically. Looked wonderful flying. Good size. Good value. Great fun for 3 yr old and us adults. Found the octopus likes winder conditions ( flew better at beach). Liked each kite came in own pouch.Negatives- the tails have frayed and the stitching on the pocket where you place the kite stick has come away after about 5 uses, leaving one kite unusable. I will be sending back and reordering.

let's go fly a kite!
The octopus (squid?) kite was an absolute winner. No sticks or sharp bits, folds up into its own small bag so is easy to carry stuffed into a back pack, having no weight at all. Once shaken out and filled with air it simply wants to fly! So easy to get going so the children loved it. Easy to keep flying, even for 5 year old. Eventually I had to wind the string back in to gradually bring it back down to earth. There was no way it was coming down otherwise 😄 Passers-by actually stopped to take photos of it flying as it looked so striking against the blue sky. Grandkids wanted to keep it so have now ordered another for me😉The more regular shaped kite was less successful. We had about a 20mph wind i guess on a beach and it seemed it 'wanted' to fly, being easy to launch. The challenge was keeping it up. It kept heading down like an arrow at great speed, meaning it was somewhat hazardous for those sitting nearby! Having crashed a few times the sticks became loose in their fabric sockets. I have mended and will try again in an empty space. However it is a beautiful kite and the size is wonderful, so worth persevering I feel.

Squid kite is great and very stable, the delta kite was damaged
The squid kit is great it is very stable and can stay up very easily and looks great no parts to assemble, however the delta kite we received had a manufacturing defect where the pole that supports the back of the kite fits into a retaining pocket wouldn't stay in as the pocket was not sewn close, so that was thrown away. I guess you have to take into account the low price and these kind of these are expected to some degree.

You may have tried kites and thought that there was black magic to keeping them up, not these ones
Perhaps like me, you've invested on bigger kites, thinking that bigger is better, and found that it's all about technique, well kite flying is another example of where you should start small and work your way up.This kite duo is just what you need to make yourself the envy of the park, simple to fly, they look good, keep the kids amused and help ensure a good day out.We found that it's worth bringing along a pair of gloves as letting out the string can be a bit painful. The Octopus pretty much flies itself and is great for kids. The more traditional kite is the next stage up, taking a bit of time to learn the technique, but once up keeps going for hours.Worth the money, so much so, I bought a couple of extra sets for other people.

Rainbow a kite a nightmare to put together
The Octopus kite is fine as nothing to assemble. Unfortunately the Rainbow kite had my husband flummoxed for an hour - instructions aren't good! He's usually pretty good at this sort of thing and gently tried to ease the spines into the kite a large number of times. Eventually on trying to put it together one of the spines broke so sadly it's gone into the bin. Would have been best to just buy the Octopus.
