It works hard for the money!
The media could not be loaded. I always appreciate good packaging and crisp clean boxes when I buy something - yeah, most things would be fine chunked in a sack and slapped a label on them, but I just like seeing my stuff protected and clean when I first open and use it. This product delivers there, nice box and packaging for good protection and a good first impression. The feel of the sprayer and parts is good, the connections although all plastic are tight and feel very positively engaged. Another good sign. I pulled everything out and took a picture of everything you get in the box too. The parts are not identified so you'll have to use your thinker to figure out what they are and how they would be used with the machine. The blower attachment and cleanup connector are shown and described in the manual. And speaking of... the instruction manual leaves much to be desired and to the imagination! Parts are labeled with numbers but never cross referenced to the part names anywhere... strange. And although there is a confusing comment about using the viscosity cup and timing the emptying of it, there is no correlation to the viscosity of the material and the recommended orifice to use from the 4 provided. If you've painted with one of these before you might figure it out by just judging the size but if you have no experience, then you may not have a good first experience. I would recommend that they spend a little more time on that manual and clear up the questions before they start getting inundated with negative comments! As for me testing the whole kit...nothing is easy or fast about painting as far as I'm concerned, it takes lots of prep work and practice to get a good finish - you have to use good techniques for both the method you choose to apply the paint/finish with and pay attention to the product instructions as well... you know, temperature/humidity/orientation/etc. Anyway. I plan to use this for large size leather hide re-dying. You need a lot of outdoor room with the right conditions, and I have neither at the moment, but I wanted to see if I thought this bargain HVLP rig might do the trick. Dyeing leather over large areas is really hard to do and get an even finish with normal application techniques so I was thinking of spraying it on with this sprayer. The weather has turned really cold here so I couldn't use my actual products, so I used a water-based dye for testing as I didn't want to waste a bunch of expensive dye until I was ready to commit to the leather... have to wait for that. I used the smallest orifice and about medium volume for the test on newspaper that I show here. I had the nozzle oriented incorrectly and while holding my phone with one hand I just used it as I had it. The results to me are impressive. I will likely test on a scrap chunk of leather first when the weather and area is right but I'm thinking this may be a win! I'd dial back the volume of product a little more as well and apply in really light built-up layers to get the colors I'd be shooting for. I also think you could use this for general cleaning outdoors with a little soapy water, could really get down in the cracks with some cleaner. I wouldn't use anything harsh or the plastic bits my suffer... but soap and water will cure a lot of clean up ills. The blower noise is reminiscent more of a vaccum cleaner than the old splatter electric spray guns. This one blows a LOT of air so make sure you work in a clean area or you may blow up dust and debris that may ruin your project! If you are shopping for one of these sprayers anyway, I don't think this one would disappoint you. I plan on using it for more than I got it for - for sure! :DRevised 11/07/23 - Manufacturer reached out to me and asked if they revised their manual would my opinion change of their product. I'd say that they are paying attention to the needs of their customers and THAT is worth adding back 1 star! So, thank you for listening!!

Clean it as soon as you're finished with it
Works really good and is not heavy so your arm won't get tired as fast for the bigger jobs that you absolutely have to make sure you clean it as soon as you're done using it because once paint dries in it it's useless

Nice inexpensive sprayer
Nice sprayer for the money. Not having used it a lot I can not speak to its ruggedness but I sprayed sealer on some patio furniture. Took longer to get the paint out than to spray a table. Works well. And then I tested its ability to spray some really thick bonding primer on some scrap plywood to prepare for a bigger job. Sprayed the thick paint with no problem. Pretty easy to clean. One suggestion, suppliers sell some plastic bags that you can use to line the bottle. I bought a pack and it seems like a great idea. The bottle is not all that difficult to clean but if you can just toss a bag that does not cost much, it makes clean up simple.

Splatter
I won’t buy again. The sprayer didn’t produce an even spray.Even after working through all of the instructions it over and over again the unit didn’t produce an even amount of product. It was more like spitting paint than spraying paint.

Controlled Spraying
Sprayed two quarts of fairly thick latex paint and was very pleased with the results. The sprayer destributed the paint evenly with sharp lines. Considering the price, this sprayer is a bargain .

For the price it is definitely a good tool
For a product made overseas,it's right up there with Wagner, it has all the same features, for much less. Comes with everything you need with four different heads and cleaning tools, plus filter's for your paint. Easy to clean and reassemble.
