I was a bit sceptical about this item but finally got round to trying it today as I had some beef left from our roast dinner. Read the reviews first to get some tips which I used and the pies turned out fantastic and it was so quick and easy plus the pie maker is hardly dirty and the pies didn't stick. I added some leftover gravy and onions that had been cooked by boiling to keep them moist for the filling, bought ready made shortcrust pastry and used egg wash for pastry. I didn't preheat the pastry maker and let it cool between batches and they were still cooked within 6-8 minutes - this made it easier to put the pastry in. I only used the small cutter for lid and bottom which meant there was no pastry wastage or spillage and I skirted all 4 plates with 3 squirts each of sunflower fry light. Can't wait to have another go with it now. Really good buy for using up leftovers and a bit healthier way of having pie as you know what's in it.

I have looked at these for a while and decided to give it a go , for the price it’s a good kit. It is easy to use just pre heat and then place pastry in base add filling place top on brush with a little milk and close. As I am cooking filling fresh I found it only needed 8 minutes to cook pie. Pastry comes out very crispy with a good colour. Contents were hot. Easy to wipe down for cleaning, only thing I can criticise is the green ready light is hard to see. This gives a good saving in electricity against having to run an oven for same amount of food. Would recommend

Overall, I would rate this pie maker 9/10. It’s very easy to use and heats up quickly, making it ideal for quick lunches or evening meals. My only small criticism is that the pies are on the smaller side, my husband usually eats two, but for me they’re a good portion. I’ve tried both shortcrust and puff pastry, and puff pastry definitely works better for savoury pies, giving a nicer texture and finish. The non-stick plates are excellent; the pies release easily and it’s very simple to clean afterwards. I’ve also found that slightly overfilling the pies helps the tops cook and brown better. Overall, it’s a great little pie maker and I’d happily recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something quick, convenient, and easy to clean.

This is amazing in 1 hr managed to roll out and re-roll out pastry and managed to make filling and cook 8 perfect pies and the looked and tasted perfect pastry was nice and crisp . Highly recommended ♥️

This is brilliant so easy to use, I've made chicken pies already and we loved them. I need to remember not to make so much filling I've saved the rest for next time. Easy to clean, none stick

There is no warranty on the box or on Quest's website. I can't spend $60 on a pie maker and if it fails in 30 days, not be able to get a refund. This is definitely not "deep fill". The pie holes are barely 2 cms deep. The bottom plate has a 2mm front gap, which will be perfect for fats and food to fall in-between and be impossible to clean. Not as compact as I thought it would be. Might as well get a Sunbeam 4 up pie maker for $75.

I bought this from Australia to be sent to Australia and a device with the wrong plug attachment was sent. Quite disappointed as I was in the process of making the filling when I took it out of the box.
