Ancient Cookware, Chamba Clay Tagine, Large, 1.5 Quarts

This is the second piece of La Chamba cookware I've purchased and both have exceeded expectations. The tagine cooks perfectly and presents beautifully on the table. You add your vegetables, meat, and seasonings, put on the lid, and leave it alone to cook for a few hours. The hardest part is stopping yourself from peeking before it's done. The chicken was falling off the bone.We leave both pieces out all the time because they're too beautiful to put away.

I was looking for a pot/pan to roast veggies. Did some research and found clay pots are great way to capture the best flavor of roasted veggies. This works beautifully. Flavor is very good and so easy to clean. The added benefit of the steaming top is unique. haven't tried that yet, but intend to.

I have been using this to cook Paula Wolfert Moroccan, and it is terrific. It has handled low heat well, and once warm I was also able to use under the broiler. It cleans easily and looks gorgeous on display. I can't wait to invest in another piece of LaChambra cookware
