Seems good
I always want a smaller phone to keep with me. Preferably carried in a cell phone pocket of jeans. I went with this as it sounded as tho it would be good and works with Consumer Cellular. Previously I had a Unihertz Atom L which I thought to be a perfect phone but it required a higher priced carrier. In some respects the Atom L was more convenient as it had a wider screen and was not as thick. And it was proven tough without the need for any cover. Being thicker the Tank Mini is harder to get out of a typical cell phone pocket. I am not sure it is as tough as the Atom. The bigger battery capacity is always welcome and I only charge it every third day or so. Overall I like the Mini and will continue to use it. But if the Atom L would work with Consumer Cellular I would probably go back to it.

DO NOT BUY- DANGEROUS
Review update: Take a look at my review below. It's a cool phone and easy to use. Can't complain about that. A couple of days ago, I dropped the phone while getting out of bed two feet off the ground. It hit the wood floor and the screen went black, never to awaken again. Everything else worked, even my podcast was still playing. Here's the bigger problem. The phone almost immediately heated up to burning temperatures. Like hot potato, need to wear gloves temperatures. Obviously a short or something occurred from a two foot fall. For a "rugged" phone, that's embarrassing. Thankfully, I had a screwdriver bit at the office that was the right size and I quite literally took the phone apart and ripped the battery out, because I could not shut the thing off without a functioning screen. I'm not even going to attempt to warranty this because of the danger it poses and the obviously shoddy craftsmanship it has. It's a cool phone, but stay a LONG ways away from this one. I've had two different Unihertz/8849 phones and both have been neat phones, but have had fatal flaws of some sort. Just stay away from this company overall.I've only had it a week, but it's a great phone so far. All features responsive, calls and texts work great, and the battery is fantastic for normal use. Bigger than the smaller phone I describe below, but only in length. The width is practically the same, which is nice for one handed use. Haven't tried any high intensity games, but videos and low intensity games work well. I have it on US Mobile (mvno of t mobile and verizon, but I'm using the t mobile option) and it works great. Only negative of the phone I've seen so far is the camera is not great. Don't buy the hype of the 100mp bull, it's not great. Before this, I had a Jelly 2E from the same company (the 3 inch phone), and the camera took just as good shots with a 16mp. Not sure what they did with the software to make this terrible and I could try other camera apps, but then even more 3rd party developers are would have permissions into my phone. No thanks. The best feature from updating from the 3 inch phone is that they removed the back, home, and recent apps buttons from the bottom of the screen, which caused me to mess up my texts ALL the time on my Jelly 2E. On this phone, it's much easier to text not worrying about accidentally hitting one of those buttons. You simply swipe right to go back a screen, up to go to the home screen, and a weird combination of up and hold to see recent tabs. Anyways, I'm enjoying the phone so far and will definitely keep using! I'll update if anything goes wrong.

Toughest phone
Ok so I've kicked this phone across the pharmacy dept at Walmart, dropped it hard quite a few times, ...not even the screen has broke. Have had a while so if something was going to go wrong I'm sure we'd be there by now. Great very durable phone . It's a little heavy, helps me hold onto it better . Oh and the flashlights on this thing are very cool, used the large LED one flashing it out in our boat last summer, saves our butts. Oh there is one thing,....the camera won't fine focus for me anymore.

Not water proof
I purchased this phone in new June and was so excited to get it. It worked great for about 2 months but recently I had it in my pocket for about 30 seconds when I walked waste deep into water. It did get wet and started to malfunction. I try to dry it over the next week as best I could but still not working properly. It says that it is waterproof to a certain foot depth but that is not the case. Other than that it's been a great phone but it is not waterproof. At least not in my experience.

Great for the outdoors
I had an early version of this phone for over a year and tried a larger screen version but in the end this size is just right. I love the response I routinely get, “is that a phone, where did you get it?”. So many people just don’t realize they have options beyond what everyone else is buying. For me it is really nice having a phone that I do not need to worry about. It gets wet when I kayak, it bounces off rocks when I climb, and I don’t need to worry about rain when I’m riding my bike.At this price you may want to buy this as a weekend phone so you can leave your delicate phone in the car when you are out having fun outdoors.

Well, not really a tank regarding durability.
So, I have never broken a phone since the dawn of cell phones. I have dropped many phones, never broke a one. This one, I dropped once, front screen shattered. So much for durable.

Great Compact Phone
Had a Unihertz Atom XL. When the battery wasn't performing as well. I "upgraded" to a Blackview N6000. The N6000 was missing a headphone jack and SD card slot. After owning the Blackview for only 3 months, I saw this phone and had to get it. So far its everything the Unihertz Atom XL was and way more. This is a fantastic phone and strongly recommend. This company isn't afraid to put features in a phone.

Not rugged enough
I brought this type of phone because it is a RUGGED tank phone. Dropped it less than two feet distance and it cracked and the screen would no longer turn on. I could receive calls through blue tooth through my truck.
