Nothing else compares!
Oh man, I love this controller! Hall Effect gimbals really do make a world of difference. Any controller company that is not using Hall Effect gimbals is RIPPING YOU OFF! Stop buying a new controller every 6 months due to drifting joysticks.I bought a Gulikit King Kong Pro two years ago and it is still flawless. It has thousands of hours of use and has been dropped countless times on my hardwood floor, and the sticks still register a perfect 0.0000 return error in gampadtester. The only reason I bought the KK Max was because I missed having back paddles. That was my only complaint about the KK2 Pro. So the KK Max has solved this issue for me.After having Hall Effect gimbals, I will never buy another controller without them. I am WAY more accurate in FPS games with these joysticks than another other controller I have ever used, including Scufs.Seriously, nothing else compares to this controller.

Great controller with superb compatibility and many options
I bought this as an alternative to the 8bitdo ultimate controller this seems to have a few more options and the benefit of changing out the buttons so that they can work with either a Nintendo based control set or an Xbox based control set.It comes with a good case with a tool for removing the buttons and with a USB adapter that can be used for lower latency connections it will connect over Bluetooth as well.I've had zero problems with it so far. I have the adapter plugged into the deck for my ROG Ally for playing when docked. When my Ally is not docked I connect over Bluetooth. Everything works perfectly well. I actually prefer this over the 8bitdo controller. It feels great and works well too with a lot more functionality.

Amazing controller until it breaks
I bought the KK3 Max in February and it's August (the same year) when I'm writing this. The controller feels great, and the functionality is amazing. But, as other reviewers say, the back paddles stopped working after only a few weeks. I liked the controller anyway, so I did without the back paddles, until yesterday when the right bumper/R1 button stopped working suddenly. Now it's basically useless. The button just got extremely mushy and doesn't register inputs anymore. Unless you don't mind replacing a controller every few months, stay away from this one.

One of the best purchases I've ever made.
(After a few months of use)This controller is one of the most solidly built pieces of technology I've ever owned. Seamless and durable build quality, super comfortable feel in the hands, stable connection with no dropped inputs, and plenty of repairability points (as far as individual buttons and sticks go).For the price this controller is an absolute no brainer. If you love the Xbox One/Series controllers, you'll love this

Thoroughly impressed
This is a fantastic controller. It does everything I wanted, and then some. I was really looking for some thing that I was able to record a macro on to do some repetitive tedious tasks in some of the video games that I play. Even though this page doesn’t talk about it a whole lot the APG works fantastic. I was able to record a simple macro and leave it running all night long. Took a lot of tedious, grinding out of some of the games I was playing. Exactly what I was looking for

Great control poor design/will break
This controller is probably one of the best controllers I've used as far as connectivity and easy to adjust settings on the fly. There is so many different options that you can use and you can change them mid game. It connected perfectly for me and isn't too hard to update the firmware. Overall the controller is great with one very big problem. The back paddles. If you use the back paddles expect them to break pretty quickly. Meaning the internal button has a very thin plastic bar that will snap and cause the paddles to stick and/or not function. My first controller lasted a couple months. My 2nd controller lasted a couple weeks before happening. It is a major design flaw and quite frankly for a $70 controller I'd expect quality parts or atleast a lasting time of a year. Not 2 weeks. If you use the back paddles then I'd stay away from this controller.

The best controller at this price point
I am blown away by the quality of this controller. My previous controller was an Elite 2 which broke down, and I decided to get something more durable. I am genuinely enjoying it, and I don’t feel I’m missing anything compared to Elite 2. The only thing it’s lacking is an app to customize joystick curves, custom actions for buttons and back pedals, and etc but I personally don’t need that, so it’s perfect for me.

Very good price/quality ratio
Have tried this controller out for a few hours and it feels very comfortable in hands, feels smaller and more compact than classic PS5 controller and suits the smaller medium hands perfectly.Design wise it is very epurated and classic. The touch of the materials feel good especially the body of the controller, it is a sort of more or less grippy textured plastic which feels better in hand IMO.The buttons are OK, nothing special to signal, lets see on the longer run how they age. However, the controller needs a firmware update right from the beginning before using it. This is where it is a little strange, you need to download a firmware on to the controller but even when you do so the controller turns off and the firmware does not upload properly. After a good 15minuts of research on reddit I found that dragging the downloaded software file on the desktop first and then afterwards dragging it on the controller solved the problem. The controller then turns on and is ready to use. This is a little bit a pain for many people who are simply willing to turn their controller on and play without having to figure out how to bring the update of the firmware and so on. Really, this should be fixed but maybe it only happened to very few people..The pallets on the back feel good even though I am not yet used to have pallets on the back. They are made from metal and feel quite responsive. The controller comes with two little textured gums/pads to put on your joysticks for more grip which I really enjoy.Connectivity wise you can plug it wired or wirelessly, both function properly. There is a certain learning curve when it comes to remap buttons, modify sensitivity and so on but you get a manual. I have to admit that it is quite programmable and becomes simple once you get used to how to use the different buttons. All in all I am actually very pleased with this controller especially for its price point. Compared to a Dualsense Edge at 220€ or to a Scuff controller around 230€ I feel this gulikit is not lacking anything major compared to those expensive controllers.Obviously, only time will tell because joysticks are known to develop stickdrift over time, so a review after 10 months of use is more pertinent maybe.Anyways, the first impressions are quite good. It cost ‘only’ 20€ more than the default Xbox or Playstation controllers but offers quite more options for the customer.Hope this review may guide you and help you.

Absolut wunderbar

Quite impressive, especially at this price point
I have been using this controller for a few days now, and so far I'm quite pleased with it. Have tried it on PC and Switch. No apparent QC issues, everything seems to work as intended. Was quite surprised by this, having read some not-too-great stories about Gulikit QC. The controller has a premium feel to it as well as some weight. All axis controls are quite precise, trigger lockout travel could have been a little shorter. Though it provides a nice click, it's just a bit on the mushy side. Some people may also not like the trigger tension, it's on the heavy side. It would have been nice if all buttons were freely mappable on PC, but since there's no software suite (that I know of), you're limited to what the controller has to offer. All in all, really can't complain at this very low price point. Having tried a Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra before this, this blows that piece of overpriced plastic out of the water on every front. Considering that controller was more than double the price and suffering from multiple QC issues, I cannot recommend the KK3 Max enough. Looking for a Elite controller with hall effect precision? Look no further, although your mileage may vary, ofcourse. If things start to fall apart in the following months, I'll be back here to report, but so far, so good!
