Nice smaller size and refillable!
This is great for short trips where I can take a few of this smaller size and use multiple stoves at once.

Compact and cheaper than isobutane
Got it to for use backpacking and kayak camping. I couple it with an adapter to use for a canister stove and it fits inside a water body Molle pouch.

Well made, but...
Well made compared to a throwaway can, there's a noticeable heft to the gauge of steel used compared to throwaway cans, with thicker welds at the seams ...but with a couple of issues. The first one I got was manufactured "crooked", the top of the can, the male threaded part, was not parallel to the can base, it was slanted a few degrees. Put a campstove on it, and a pot, and it's tilted where it should be level. Using this with my Coleman stove was the only reason I got it.Contacted Flame King with photos, and they sent me a replacement quickly.(Could have just returned it to Amazon, but I was more curious about the manufacturing defect, and the opinion from FK)Other issue is there's no convenient way to store the allen vent wrench which comes taped to the plastic cover guard, so it logically stays with the refill adapter, minor issue. (And that cover guard doesn't make it either, a normal brass threaded cap is more practical)

weeble wobbles won't stand still
There is a problem with this 1/2 pound tank. IT does not set level on a hard surface it can't the rounded part (bulge at the bottom) sticks out past the ring around the outer edge it should sit on making it wobble around. I bought it to use with a bottle top single burner cook stove but can't because of this unstable rocking wobble. I have many flameking products from 1/4 pound to 40 pound propane bottles and tanks accessories for filing and such. I have had some of them so long I can't remember how long its been. To be honest I'm thinking of just taking a hammer and bashing, flatting the bottom of the tank. UPDATE: contacted Flameking their solution was to buy one of their tank holders for $14 and change. That big piece of plastic monstrosity is not a fix for the flaw this tank-/bottle has so i guess it's just unusable junk that Flameking has no concerns about making right. Needles to say I do not recommend this product. Stay away from this one!!!!!

Cheap and easy propane refills
I use this refillable bottle daily on my camping adventures. I refill the bottle from a Flame King 5 lb bottle i have strapped to the spare tire of my Jeep. The 5 lb bottle (1 gallon or 128 ounces) only costs about $3 to fill up, where as two 1 lb (32 oz) bottles cost about $5 at Walmart.

The middle of the bottom of the tank is lower than the outer bottom so the tank wobbles.
If you set the tank on a flat surface it wobbles. The rounded cylinder bottom sticks out farther than the outer ring that's welded on. The size of the tank is perfect for what I'm using it for, but the wobble is in very annoying.

About the size of an 8oz butane
In fact, it’s slightly larger. But I got this so that it would take up about the same amount of space as a butane can. Obviously to run butane appliances. It needs an adapter which adds weight and height. The can itself is very heavy compared to an aluminum butane can

Right size tank
I like this smaller tank. Great for a small burner to cook off of. You pan is not as high as the full size 1 lb tank
