Not for my marginal area.
Shipping and price were perfect. The unit is thin and the amplifier and power supply smaller than others I have tried.I was not able to get this to work well in my location. The 3 major network sites are all in the same area about 40 miles away, plus there is a large water tower nearby that is at the edge of the signal window. Getting any those three sites required having the unit near the window and turning it such that I couldn't put it on the window. Other sites are in the opposite direction and those are closer and did come in when I turned it that way. I have an older RCA 50 mile flat indoor unit that gets slightly better reception but it varies day to day and by position. In my case an attic mounted outdoor longer range unit and maybe a rotor will be the only real fix. Not knocking this unit, I will probably gift it to so someone that has better access to the towers in question.

Excellent quality!
Excellent quality!!! I’m glad I don’t have cable or satellite...by far the best antenna I have owned and I get about 30+ Channels and VERY VERY HD CLEAR!

Good Antenna, but not omnidirectional
This was easy to install and connect. Placement was more difficult, but on par with other antennas that I've tried. Holding it vertical I was able to receive most on the major channels, but missing NBC. Holding it vertical and turning it 90° NBC came in, but ABC cut out. I don't have a good way to mount it at a 45° to get a partial signal of both, but I did have a shelf nearby to lay it flat, with it hanging off the shelf halfway. Being flexible it bent slightly, and provided great reception of all my major channels. My solution won't work for everyone, but be patient and try many different angles and positions if your first choice doesn't work perfectly. Sitting here thinking, perhaps if I had curved it slightly, I'd get better reception from all angles. Flexible antenna is good.

60-80 mile Long Range antenna?? Yeah maybe in the vacuum of space!!!
Bought this to replace a cheap Wal-Mart antenna that received 18 (of 34 possible) area channels with reception from excellent to poor, & some bad - all depending on time of day & weather. Main reason for purchase was the advertised 60-80mi range. I live in the suburbs between 30 & 40 miles from antenna towers. Mounted this antenna in the same location as my previous one. Hooked up amplifier and ran channel scan. Found only 4 channels (all with bad quality according to the TV set). Included cable is short (10ft?) and thin - with poor shielding - my phone plugged into a separate outlet in the same room would interfere with the antenna). Opened window and mounted outside (10 channels, all bad & poor quality except for a local school board channel 5 miles away, which came in a signal strength Normal). I guess if I hung this from a 100ft pole outside my window, it may work better. This product is garbage if you live anywhere you would require an amplified antenna (say > 20 miles). This product is not up to snuff and is no better than those 'FreeTV' antennas you see on infomercials. To summarize, a crappy Wal-Mart antenna is better than this.

Works as advertised
This is very easy to set-up. I was able to pick-up 28 channels, including CBS, NBC, Fox, and CW local channels. There are also three Spanish stations that come in very clear. I did have to use the booster and make sure you have the correct settings on your TV when you scan for channels. I set input to "TV" and changed from "Cable" to "Air". Also, it seemed to work the best with the antennae at the highest point and on an outside wall. I moved it around to different rooms to seen how many channels and what channels I could get. I bought this for my son who lives in a second floor apartment, so I am hoping he will be able to receive even more channels. I am planning on buying a second one to add an additional TV in our extra room. Just want the local channels and maybe a few cable channels for that TV. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bought for temporary use
I rented a cabin in a state park for a few days. The cabin did not have a TV or wifi, so I brought my small tv. I knew there would be TV stations within 20 miles, so I purchased this antenna. I got to the cabin and found that it was surrounded by tall trees and I thought I probably won't get much of a signal at all. So I set up my TV and at first tried the antenna without the amplifier (comes with the antenna), but could not get a signal. I attached the amplifier and was able to pull in 8 channels. I was so pleased. All I wanted was to be able to get some news while there and I got more than that. I still had some interference because of the trees but overall this product worked better than expected. But if you are using this temporarily like I was, do not use the sticker this comes with. It was hard to remove from the window I attached it to. I suggest bringing a removeable 3M product or other more easy to remove tape.

for the best reception. Don't stick antenna until you have best ...
With clear weather, the antenna picks up about 25 channels, in my area. Search for window, without a screen, for the best reception. Don't stick antenna until you have best reception you can get. Good value and reception for the money and smaller than most antennas. Digital reception depends on few obstructions of signal. The higher the antenna location; the better the signal.
