The information in the first book gives you a handful of information on different ways to get started on your magical journey. It also provides simple ways to set up your altar, to cast a magic circle, and a bit on how to start a girmore. It also talks about tarot, nature magick, stones, runes, and much more. With just that information from the book, you can go more in-depth on what you're interested in from the internet or other books that focus more on what you're drawn to. If you believe this path is for you but you have no clue where to begin, then you should get the first book and the book The Modern Witchcraft Grimoire - only. The Spellbook is almost a copy of the first book, so you would be reading the same stuff from the first one, which isn’t worth it. But it does have more spells in there - hence the title. So if you want a kick-start on your magical journey, buying the box set is a great way to ease you into it without getting overwhelmed by all the stuff you read on the internet. As you get more comfortable, you can explore other books that are more detailed or find something better suited to your style on the internet. Great little set, they're also very pretty. I'm a total beginner and these are really helpful for me. A great quick set of references plus very useful introductions to different standard concepts.

Great for Baby Witches
I love this series and how accessible it makes witchcraft. If you feel called to the craft and don’t know where to start this box set is a great place to begin. I myself am a Pagan-based eclectic witch and found the books insightful and loved using them to add to my grimoire!
