Q: Do these sheets pill?

I can't speak to long term effects. But I have had the 400TC sheets for a couple of weeks now and 3 wash cycles, and it has not. Can't speak to much longer term usage. I did buy their 800TC sheets before this and have had it for a couple of months now, and they still doing good. Hope that helps.

Q: The sheets still 'ride up' at the corners of my bed (even though there's extra room)... is there anything that can prevent them from doing this?

There are many bed sheet straps available on Amazon that should hold them down. I have not had this problem on our king with these sheets but have used these straps in the past on a different mattress with different sheets.

Q: How thick is the elastic that goes around the bottom sheet?
