Valve works fine and is a perfect replacement for the old intermatic actuators. You just have to orient the new valve a little differently because the electrical connection and switch are now on the bottom, not on the side like on the old ones.Once you figure that out, it worked perfectly out of the box with no adjustments necessary.Seller JD's electrical also gets 5 stars for working with me when I thought I was missing the manual valve handle. Turns out, it doesn't come with one.

It is super easy to set the cam adjustments on these! This was the first time I ever replaced a valve actuator myself, and it was easy, so I saved having to pay an serviceman to come out.Very nice looking rounded design, too.

Failed after 3 months of use .. also not able to find warranty details .. stay away

I'm replacing an old generation Intermatic actuator, which died after 2.5 years. I opened the old unit and found water had got inside, corroding it beyond reasonable repair. I'm hoping the new design lasts longer - the shape/molding of top shell looks like it may be more durable in the rain, so fingers crossed. It's still a whole lot cheaper than Pentair parts, so I'm taking another chance with this one. Replacement is easy - the new actuator plugs straight into the control board and is ready to go. The screws supplied are a slightly different thread size to what I previously had and they didn't secure it to the valve properly. I had some spare that I had to use to form a good seal.
