Great weight, quality material, everything about them is stunning.Lost a star because there’s like a 3/4” difference in the height of the head. And since they’re pinned, you can’t fix it. Really messed with the consistency when throwing.Update: I contacted the stores customer service through Amazon and they sent me a replacement axe that is aligned perfectly with the correct one from the first shipment. They even expedited shipping and I got it in 2 days. Now I am super happy to have 2 matching, incredible axes. Thank you for the quick responses and amazing customer service! 5 stars.

Wow really nice packaging and design, makes you feel Viking for sure. The hatchet is very nice, with a great design on the left side. forging looks clean and solid. weight is very good for throwing or just for self-defense, camping chores or whatever.My issue is they advertise "Our NedFoss throwing axes feature strong and long-lasting handles made from premium beech wood, unlike other brands that use soft, fast-growing wood. This provides a durable and reliable tool for your outdoor activities." But the handle came with a large crack in it right out of the box!They offer a great guarantee but really need to do better quality control.I'm so bummed that I can't throw my axe, have to send it back and wait another two weeks for the replacement.

Cool axe's, I purchased twice. Problem is, when the handles break I guess you throw away the head since these guys don't offer replacement handles for sale. Not if, but when the handles break. They're wood, you throw them, they get beat up. Need replacement handles.

First off, these things look great. I have an extensive collection of throwing "stuff", everything from small kunai, up to the cold steel torpedoes. Knives, spikes, hatchets, axes, and others. I even actually already have several NedFoss products, but I only had one similar Style throwing Hatchet like this. I thought I was going to have a matched three pack of the same throwing hatchet, but no. I love all of my throwing stuff, but sadly these two do not match my other one. If this really matters to you, make sure you are paying attention to what model numbers you are buying. I did not even notice the difference, not until I put them all together. The single I have received in the past, has a little longer of a blade Edge on it. The materials, and construction, are identical. Just the edge of the blade on the single is about an inch longer, it is even the same shape, just extended a little wider. This is no big deal, I just thought they were all the same. When throwing, consistency is the key. Make sure, if you want more than two, that you are buying the exact same ones, there are mynute differences. These throwing axes their self, are great. They come very sharp, with rubber Edge protectors attached. The blade is a decent quality of metal, that stays sharp for a very long time, and it's very easy to maintain when you need to. The handle is very securely attached, and seems to have had throwing in mind. The stick gets fatter from the handle to the head, so it really can't even fit off of the end of the stick. Where it got stuck at though, they drilled a little hole through the head and stick, and inserted a rolled pin. This guarantees the head cannot fall off accidentally. Not if that pin is there. This is a great design, it should hold up forever. They fly great, have a wonderful spin, great balance, and weight. Perfect for professionals, or amateurs. They are a whole lot of fun, for one low price. Cheaper to buy them in a set then single also. Overall, these are great throwing axes/tomahawks/hatchets. They work exactly as intended, clean up great, easy to maintain, a lot of fun. Highly recommended. Great looking design.

Wow. This is quite the hefty piece of lumberjack heaven my husband has been in search of. Recently, he’s been found in his small circle of friends going out to one of our mate’s wooded backyard to hold their own axe-throwing competitions. To quote him specifically, “The blade is sharper than the one I spent worth three times more than this one,” and aptly, “the weight of this particular axe makes it easy to gauge my throwing distance.” He seems quite pleased with it, and I couldn’t be happier that we gave this one a chance. I’m sure we’ll be scoping out the manufacturer soon enough for more companions to add to his ever-expanding collection.5 Stars for sure!

So got these for axe throwing. Weight feels good and it looks like it takes standard handles. Came sharp as well. So why the 2 stars you may ask. Well the description, pictures, and the video showed that you get two axes for the price. Awesome, right? Well nope just one in the box. I submitted a return and replacement to see if they just shorted me one. If the next comes with just one axe I will be sending both of them back. Being deceptive in your advertising is not cool. I'll update this if they fix the problem and I have a chance to try them out.
