I love these hiking boots! I bought them for a week long hiking trip through Palo Duro, CO Springs, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. I didn't have to break them in, they were snug, comfortable, and the grip on them is great for hiking steep mountains with different terrain. I usually wear size 6.5 in women's Nikes (and other running shoes) but the 6.5 were too small and tight. I re-ordered the size up (size 7) and they were perfect, not loose, not too tight, not too heavy. My ankles felt very sturdy, my feet did not hurt after hiking 13+ miles a day, my feet stayed dry when it was raining and when walking over puddles of water. I also got lots of compliments on them.

These boots are the best! They are very lightweight and sturdy with good arch and ankle support. An added bonus is the are good looking.

Good protection and comfortable

Tried on over 7 pairs and really tried out different brands. If you need arch support, this boot is really awesome. Great waterproofing. Wish they were a little cheaper so I could get another pair! They really do need to improve their sizing though. They are too snug, and I have to wear thin socks. Can't go up a half size because they don't make 11.5
