Holy brightness!!
I got this product for my husband as he is always using his headlamp. I wanted to get him another so he always has a back up. This has now become his main headlamp. He loves it so much because of how bright it is. And when I say bright, it’s blinding he will be sitting in another room with the door open working on a project and I am at the end of another room at least 25 feet away. When he looks up to talk to me, and I look at him from that distance, that light is super blinding in my eyes. I think this is really helped him work on his projects, more efficiently as he can see exactly what he’s doing without issue. This headlamp also seems to last along time before needing a charge. I know my husband would say he highly recommends this product.

Heavy duty headlamp that is comfortable to wear.
This is a heavy-duty headlamp. It is a bit big, bigger than any others I've ever had, but surprisingly it doesn't feel too heavy when you wear it. The main light is very bright and displays a hug circle of light, and you can dim it too. The head strap has a 2nd strap that goes over the back of your head, and it keeps the headlamp in place and feels comfortable. There is also a battery indicator light that lets you know if you need to recharge. There is another button next to the main power button, and when you push it, you can then use the motion sensor to turn the light on and off, by swiping your hand in front of it--I have another headlamp that has this feature, but this one is nice in that it lets you turn the function on or off.Overall, this is a very powerful headlamp, and while it is bigger than most I've seen it still feels ok when you wear it and because its priced around $25, I give it 5 Stars easily.

Some Good, Some Not So Good
First off the not so good. This Headlamp is larger in size and is a bit heavy. The lens is large (long). It almost feels like it should be a handheld unit, Nevertheless it does work OK as a head lamp. The beam focus is alike to a traditional older camera zoom. That is pull the lens out to spot and pull back to go broad beam.Charging, there is a comment that it can discharge after charged. Reading the info leads to the idea that there is no 'stop charging when charged' feature. Hence if using a laptop to charge the headlamp once the headlamp is charged it could could drain out more power from the laptop or other charging device. Now that is my interpretation of the not clear information. There other than flash there are two flashlight modes. Bright and very bright. Of course there are side lights for reading. One has to cycle through all modes to get to off with one exception which I will talk about down below on the 'likes' part. Now for what I like. This thing is bright - not quite sure if as bright as it depicts in the pictures but it is brighter than most - impressive.Something unique and I have not experienced this feature in any other light I have reviewed and there have been a lot. There is a traditional on/off switch which cycles through all modes to get to off. However, there is and inductive mode, that is when on, one can simply pass their hand/palm in-front of the sensor and the headlamp will turn of or off. The sensor works up to about 12 inches from the headlamp.A disadvantage of the sensor is that if not careful movement will turn off the lamp unintentionally. However, it can be turned right back on. Moving my hand in front of the sensor slowly will turn on and then turn off the headlamp. I thought there was a problem with the sensor. One just has to get used on the usage of the sensor.I like the feature and will use it often.Bottom line... my dislikes are legit, but the brightness and old school zoom, on/off sensor carry the vote. i like it and will be using it. Highly Recommend. The angle adjustment works well and it has an audible click as it is adjusted.

Powerful but bulky
From the picture you can see this light is too big for being a work/spot light. Especially since it should be just mounted once and forgotten but with this formfactor/weight that's not what you can expect. Regarding the light alone, it does a good job. Can go from focusing on really small area to a pretty large area depending on your need but will cause neck fatigue if you go past just a couple of minutes of usage.

Super bright with focusing tube and motion sensing. Astonishing quality.
I had to show this light off immediately after getting it. It is intensely bright. The only thing that some might not like is the size of the base which is 3-inches wide by 1 1/4-inches deep by 2 1/2-inches tall. Its long focal tube makes the whole thing look like a small SLR camera. Don't let that put you off though. The quality is very good. The focal ring is a simple push-pull slider instantly allowing you to go from super-wide coverage to a pinpoint focus. At the pinpoint focus, you will be able to highlight a far distant object and light that area up intensely. That was what astonished me the most. I've never seen anything like it for brightness at that distance in such a small light. The lamp can be angled down for close work and hinge is solid and stays in place where you need it to stop. There is a screw head for tightening that hinge, though it was perfect on arrival. The hand-wave on-off works perfectly. There are four modes including a side bar set of lower output lights for broadcast light such as when camping. The light is a bit heavy and I think that is due to the batteries being so long lasting. The light did come with a 3/4-charge and I played with it and showed it off immediately out of the box.
