SUGAR is the first ingredient!
This is more like a sweetener than a spice. It kept RUINING my spicy and savory foods, until I checked the ingredients to see what was in it. I cannot believe someone thought this was a "Chinese spice seasoning!" Far from it. It takes like cinnamon and it's not good at all.

Great for desserts, very warming
I received this as a freebie as part of the Schwartz #SeasonYourSummer campaign. I found out that you can use this seasoning for dessert recipes. I looked up a cookie recipe on Google and thought I give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and warming it tasted. Did not taste as weird as it sounded at all, Chefs Kiss, Try a 5 spice dessert recipe yourselves!
