I love this straightener! It only has one temp which is nice since you do not have to toggle in between heat settings. It is temped at the perfect temperature so that it does not burn your hair. It truly straightens my hair and my daughters hair that is super thick and wavy with no problem. I purchased the white one because it looked so clean and sleek. Anything from GHD is amazing and I have many other products by them. Quality is key and they produce that.

I have very very thick coarse curly hair. I have tried every machine and hair product out there (well almost) I am constantly on hunt the best flat iron. This one although expensive is worth it. It heats up quickly and get the Job done! For the girls with curly roots you know how important is ito be able to get the top silky and smooth. And this flat iron does it! It does not burn hair and leaves hair silky smooths, even when it’s coats and thick!

Just got it and I’m already sold. I’ve been using a Sam Villa flat iron for several years and it is good, but this is a game CHANGER.UPDATE: Video clips inferred no hair products were used when using this flat iron. I tried this and it is amazing, no products needed for a shiny sleek result.

Hands done the BEST hot flat iron I’ve ever used! This iron heats up in seconds! It leaves you hair so silky smooth without frying hair! I am 53 and have super thin hair, so I have to be careful about irons that run too hot. This tool somehow has the right setting to straighten or wave hair and still keep your hair healthy. It’s great for easy loose beach waves as well! I was hesitant to spend the money but this is one item that you definitely get what you pay for! I am so grateful for such an amazing tool! I bought this product hoping to love it, but it's just okay. I prefer other brands much better, so I use this as a backup tool for when I travel.

I purchased this after my last GHD died after 5+ years of use. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Immediately upon receiving, I turned it on and it appeared to work. When I actually went to use it the next day, it heated up, but then immediately turned off after reaching temperature. All subsequent attempts to turn it on resulted in the same behavior, or it wouldn't even turn on. I returned it to Amazon and purchased a different brand of straightener. After researching GHD more, it appears they sometimes have quality issues, particularly with the thermistor, so it wasn't worth it to me to continue to gamble 100s of dollars.

I had a GHD flat iron that was about 10 years old and decided to upgrade to this one. I can confirm that this is a significant upgrade, my hair is so shiny & bouncy after using the chronos to straighten & create waves at the same time. My hair only needed 1 pass to get it right. Wish I had upgraded sooner! Bless you GHD, you've made the best product ever for naturally curly girls to tame their manes!
