TIC Collection 14-212 Cogsworth Clock

I was drawn to this clock but the pictures, description and few reviews left me unsure about it's actual appearance and quality. I was especially leery of how a clock this size could only weigh one pound as stated! I also wanted to know more about the glass that covers the face. After going back to it several times I decided to take a chance and order it. This clock exceeds all of my expectations! The colors in my pics are very accurate. The face is beautiful with an antiqued, old, neutral colors, parchment look. The frame of the clock is made to look like time, age and exposure have caused the grayish color to expose the metal underneath. And it is METAL! There is NO way this clock weighs only one pound! It is heavy (two hands to lift)! At first I was concerned it would need a heavier hook to hang it but it was fine. The glass covering the face is a nice quality and thickness. Not one scratch or mark! It arrived well packaged against potential damage in shipping. In the month or so I have had it the time has stayed accurate. You can see the clock hand silently tic each second. The top decorative piece of the clock easily screws in and is very straight. My only advice is to make sure you don't overlook it when unpacking. I almost forgot about until a day later when I looked at the clock and remembered it was supposed to have that piece. Luckily I still had the box and found it! I hope this review helps answer the questions I was asking before ordering it.
