Fantastic Screen That's Easy To Use
For such a small device, there's a lot this is capable of.You get in the box:• The screen• USB-A to USB-C cable• 4 Pin DuPont cableNoticeable features:• ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N4R2 module,2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. - I wish it supported 5Ghz, but not the end of the world• 800*40 resolution with 16 million colours.• TN Touch screen• DC 5volt external power• Has TF Card sot, 1 x GPIO port, UART 1 and UART 0 ports plus pins to allow for speakers.• If you really want to make this portable, you can use the pins to connect a Lithuium-Ion battery as a separate project. What can you do with this?Pretty much whatever you set your mind to.• I've tested this as an external display for my computer, so I can have a small screen to display temperature stats etc.• I've also used this (well currently working on as a project) as an interactive dashboard for my HomeAssistant automation. As this supports many different radio frequencies and has development library support for Arduino IDE, Espressif IDF, Lua RTOS, Micro python and compatible with LVGL... Your imagination is pretty the limitationI would recommend to go to the Wiki for the screen and check out some projects using the librariesAbsolutely recommend!

Great product with a poor quality screen
Very impressive kit for the money but screen quality let's it down.Minor changes in viewing angle vastly changes the colour and contrast of the display. Light blue becomes dark purple with only a few degrees of rotation and moving in the opposite direction can completely wash out colour all together. As a result, the item was returned.

Impressive for the money
This is a great little bit of kit with a huge range of possible uses. It is a very cheap way to put a touch-display into your project and has a wide range of compatibility. The display is only 480p, but for 7” that isn’t terrible. I feel this will mostly be used as a touch interface rather than a viewing screen so again the resolution isn’t that important. For a TFT it is bright with decent saturation, and text is easy to read. The touch response is quite accurate and reasonably quick, more than enough for it’s intended purpose.A screen like this is great for prototyping a system, as it is cheap and portable. For the price of £50 I have to say I am impressed that you can get something this good.Recommended.

Great kit for those starting up in electronics
For those progressing from microbits and scratch, moving onto something a bit more complicated to sink their teeth into this is a useful addition by adding a monitor / touchpad interface to it. Potential for applications is huge, if the imagination is there.I would say at least one person needs to be technical to help use this, and yes, if you know what to do with this you are a technical person. It is only 480p and the instructions seem to suggest it might actually be less than that, but it does the job. For £50 though, if you were looking for a consumer ready unit you might just want to go for a standard tablet, but for more technical use this might be helpful.

Interactive display for projects
This touchscreen monitor has been a versatile tool for my projects. The integration of a powerful processor provides excellent performance. The high-resolution display is responsive and clear, making interactions smooth. The variety of development environments supported by the monitor allows for flexibility in my work. The TF card slot and multiple interfaces offer great expansion possibilities.

Great
Love it. Great little touch screen that works with my Arduino set up. The biggest challenge was learning how to code to put up display and accept commands. The screen itself works really well, and has expanded my project nicely. 5 stars.
