Works great! Easy to hookup and has held up well in my generator!

The hour meter works great and was super easy to install. It doesn't feel like it's going to break and the display has worked fine so far. These and the vibration hour meters are both good and the vibration ones are much easier but also 2-3x the cost of these. And these already feel too expensive. I feel like for what you're getting the price is too high but at the end of the day it works well and serves its purpose.

The media could not be loaded. These hour meters really could not be any easier to install! It took me longer to decide where I wanted to put it than it did to install it. The unit that I received did not have a zip tie in the package like it states on the back of the package. I chose not to use the included screws, I instead used some double sided Gorilla tape to stick the meter to the front panel of my generator. I started the generator after I completed the installation of the meter and set a timer on my phone, right at the 6 minute mark the meter ticked over to 0.1 hours. I’m satisfied for now, the jury is still out on the longevity of the battery inside these hour meters, I’ll update my review when it gives out.

I have lots of powered equipment and I'm careful to change the oil during the hourly intervals recommended. As such, I mount one of these inductive meters my generator, lawnmower, pressure washer, etc. I've never had an issue with any of them. I keep most equipment outside and these meters seem impervious to the rain, snow and sunlight. No issues. They're a good investment.
