This "updated" edition is an absolute abomination of the Original. This edition was NOT written "by the author of The Impersonal Life" as falsely stated on the cover. I suppose it's likely the publisher has lawyers that know how to get such a lie "legally" onto the cover, but it's still a lie, nonetheless. Joseph Benner did NOT write the words in this book as it is written. For some absurd diabolical reason, someone decided to rewrite the book, rearranging very many of the words. The Amazing Magic of the Real Original Work is GONE. DON'T BUY THIS EDITION. Get the Real Original edition! Do NOT get this "updated" 2008 edition.

One of the best spiritual self-help books of all time! If you are serious about changing your life for the better, you can accomplish it with careful, thoughtful study of this book and the determination to change beliefs that keep you in any kind of bondage.

I get very emotional when it comes to spirituality and this book really hit the core of what it means to me to be a Christian without all the heavily religious stuff. I would just sit and cry as I read it, it really lifted me up and gave me a different perspective. Great read

A transformative little book. True, it was written in the 1930's, I believe, so it has "olde tyme" word choices, but if you read it the essence of what's behind the words will transform you in ways you can't quite account for.

This book is a direct and concise manual on the essence of living a spiritual life. It says in 100 or so pages what all the books I have read in the last twenty years were trying to state. For anyone who is serious about the search for enlightenment this book is a necessary purchase.

This is an awesome book. I would highly recommend it. It is short and you can read it quickly. The concepts are very deep, so you may have to read it a few times for it really to sink in.

The Way Out is easy to understand, and expresses Jesus" teachings. I am doing the exercises recommended for changing our way of thinking that can change our life. I am hoping that I will be able to do so. Many years of same way thinking can take a while to change. I have faith that I will be able to do so. Then I will rate the book a five.

The books arrived on time. This is my 2nd order of this book. I had a co-worker that read my first one (a used copy). In fact I ordered two more copys (new) and have given them away because it is so insightful. I will order it again.

I love this author , his work and teachings really make you think outside the box, it goes against everything I have learned till now,But it seems to make a lot of since to me, hope others enjoy it as much as I did, by the way for me it is a book that you have to keep rereading because I get more and more from it each time, as with every book he wrote. Especially the Impersonal Life
