Excellent Product!

Outstanding! Better than expected and excellent for the price! Good 'call' type function when the doorbell is pressed, good AI human detection that isn't too sensitive catching everything, and good image quality. Very handy to be able to link multiple accounts to the same device too. Multiple methods of installation and powering is also a great feature. I would definitely recommend.

I was optimistic about this EZVIZ video doorbell, but my experience has been an absolute disaster. It quickly proved to be one of the most frustrating and unreliable pieces of technology I've ever used. ​While other reviews complained about setup difficulty, that was not an issue for me. I successfully connected the doorbell to my Wi-Fi, but the problems began immediately after. I initiated the recommended firmware update, but the doorbell went permanently offline within 20 minutes of requesting it. I cannot confirm if the update ever successfully installed. ​The doorbell has since refused to reconnect to Wi-Fi. I have exhausted all reasonable options: following multiple EZVIZ troubleshooting guides, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and consulting external help videos on YouTube. Despite these efforts, there is no fix. The device is now permanently offline and completely useless. ​However, the permanent connectivity failure only highlighted a critical design flaw: the doorbell requires a constant, always-on internet connection to function. This is simply not feasible for a modern security device, as brief internet outages are common. Unlike many competitors, this device is rendered completely obsolete during a Wi-Fi outage, as it stops recording and provides zero security. This lack of local recording capability shows a major oversight in how EZVIZ views home security. ​EZVIZ's reliance on continuous internet connectivity demonstrates a serious lack of focus on real-world security needs. Any illegal activities that are undertaken while there's an internet outage will result in lost property and zero evidence from the doorbell. Given the volume of similar complaints online, EZVIZ needs to urgently address these product flaws, redesign their devices to meet basic modern security standards, and improve their customer service. ​I strongly advise anyone considering this purchase to look for an alternative manufacturer. I will be avoiding EZVIZ products from this day forward and am immediately returning this device for a refund

Really good camera and the sounds you can hear through it are very clear, catches a lot of stuff but doesn't record past 10 seconds unless im on live view and press it myself but be too late then, also the solar charging panel is a waste of material in my opinion had to buy a separate one to plug in and that charges perfectly and thats in the same spot the one that came with it was

Given this is a home security product, initial impressions are very important. Sadly this doorbell went from "feels solid" to, "oh dear, why does it work like that?" very quickly. It lasted less than 24 hours before I had to give up and reconsider my options. The image quality is good and the AI detection seemed to be reasonable, but beyond that this thing just isn't to be relied on. Even within some brief testing it would sometimes not send notifications to my phone, or the notifications would take way longer than they should, meaning I left someone waiting at the door, or they would resort to knocking. The application is honestly pretty confusing, with sub menus for certain functions hidden in weird places and the integration with self hosted home automation systems is non-existent... Seems like a huge omission to have a "subscription free" device if you cannot easily integrate it into things like home assistant. For anyone interested, I tried the native EZViz integration, I tried MQTT and a a Hikvision add-on, and I tried one from HACS... none seem to work with this hardware and the firmware (as of the date of the review). I also couldnt even get an RTSP stream out of it... perhaps thats just me but it really shouldn't be that challenging to achieve something so fundamental. I even ordered some chimes, but before they got here I realised I was just throwing money at a problem that I shouldn't need to solve and they will all be going back. If you are a more basic user and would like a good value camera without self hosted integration (i.e. you use Amazon, Google, or Apple home automation platforms), perhaps this will be a good option for you, for the more advanced user... unless you plan to waste massive amounts of time, I would look elsewhere.

Nash product good quality camera but doesn't hold its battery for a long time and so on the panel doesn't really work

Me gusta mucho despues de unos 2/3 años con un timbre wifi de una marca conocida y que tenia que pagar una cuota mensual, y el timbre se quedo del sol amarillo, funcionaba cuando queria y fallaba siempre, asi que despues de mucho mirar mi intencion era algo como legrand con wifi, “pero” los legrand no llevan sd ni graba nada!, asi que por calidad y demas encontre este y por multitud de funciones lo compre, y no me arrepiento de nada! Calidad de imagen un 10, calidad de sonido un 7 “como todos los timbres”, calidad de detecion genial graba siempre que pasa algun coche o algun movimiento, y al detectar humanos llega la notificacion, el resto graba pero no avisa, puse una sd nueva de 32gb y llevo ya 1 semana y pico y esta al 20% asi que de sobras para 1 mes depende tambien de las grabaciones. Las llamadas son directas al telefono como si alguien te llamara no a traves de la app esto un 10, igual que arlo con el timbre. A mejorar: la app esta bien ya que ya tenia por alguna camara, pero tiene que mejorar y para ipad igual, falta el soporte de watch apple, llegan las notificaciones pero si llaman el timbre no suena el watch nada!. Instalacion: muy facil de instalar y configurar 2 hilos, hay que mirar si se corta el cable para esconder el transformador que hay + y - . Conclusion: velocidad de habla ecucha genial casi sin retardo, calidad genial, facil utilizar desde la pantalla de casa y desde la app facil es y rapida en reproducir videos o cuando se quiere ver en directo la camara del timbre, cosa curiosa y muy graciosa es que cuando llaman puedes hablar y poner voz de pitufo o voz de grandollon! Es muy gracioso para hacer bromas a conocidos!!! Lo recomiendo si, por cierto la conexion de wifi es 2,4 ghz y 5ghz, ningun dia se ha cortado ni se ha quedado congelado como otros que he tenido, eso si tengo las 5 rallitas de senyal wifi.

Produit reçu il y a 3 semaines, installé aussitôt et fonctionne à merveille. Très bonne qualité d'image qui n'a rien à voir avec mon ancien visiophone. Pour la connection j'ai utilisé 2 petits fils d'un ancien cable téléphonique d'une longueur de 60 mètres et ça fonctionne très bien. j'ai acheté en plus une carte micro SD de 128 GB La détection intelligente d'image est intéressante mais ne prend pas à 100%. Très bien pour l'application sur le téléphone

Estoy a la vanguardia con excelente videoportero Editado: múltiples fallas con conexión, error de imagen en monitor, en ocasiones al llamado del timbre la imagen que proyecta monitor es una grabación de llamado anterior y no en tiempo real, y lo peor es que reporte con evidencia y me dijeron que enviaron un reemplazo, lo cual fue falso, pues ahora me piden haga devolución para reemplazo, se imaginan devolver desde México, trayecto, recepción, revisión, reenvío, trayecto y llegada?????? Imposible, casi un mes para todo ese proceso, que lastima de atención a cliente Ezviz....😔
