Sturdy heavy duty lifts even if not the most smooth
I have another set of this style lift and by far these are heavier duty. Some of the machining was a bit rough though so they are not super smooth (but still very workable). The "slow" release essentially steps it down a small increment every time you hit it.It's quite useful when you need to lift semi-heavy items amounts too small for normal jacks it has a super low profile. The other set I have was easily notched on the main shaft which made it get quite stuck. This unit has a much more sturdy shaft and I have yet to cause damage using it.

Many uses for this tool!
Ever try to level a bathroom vanity by yourself? You cannot lift the vanity while leveling the little feet by yourself. So use these to jack up the vanity so you have both hands free. Great tool, I look forward to seeing other ways to use it.

Very powerful
I bought this to pick up heavy office desks to adjust the leveler feet and they work great I got them today and already leveled 3 desks.
