I used this for a portfolio but now it's just storage for important paperwork. Looks and feel very professional. Leather finish and easy to carry. Super functional and durable. I love it for all these purposes.

I need one that can accommodate legal-size sheets, and it doesn't seem like Samsill makes one.

Very sturdy professional-looking portfolio great for job interviews. I really like how study it is and how it looks. However, I feel like it is a little bit small. I bought these extra wide dividers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IBW7/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) and I have to force them in more in order to zip this up. Other than that, it's one of the best zipper portfolios I've seen and also very affordable! (Couldn't find other ones similar for as cheap at places like Target, student bookstores, and Staples).

I was looking for a notebook that had a 3 ring binder that was not very thick or wide. I attend many meetings and conference room table space can be limited. My older notebook was thick and wide and took up a lot of space when I had it open to take notes. I worked around this by leaving it in my office and taking notes on sheets of paper and then trying to remember to put them in my notebook. After a few months I soon had notes on different size paper and not filed. I like to be organized and this was extremely frustrating. I spent awhile looking for the right size notebook on line and in office supply stores. I came across the Samsill notebook and it met my needs. It is professional looking (although I could do without the flashy brass corner pieces that my wife likes), it is relatively thin with the 1/2 inch rings and it only opens up to 22 inches. Now my notes are all in one place and I can use it in meetings without taking up so much room. Note it is not a super high quality notebook. If you want that you should look for an expensive leather one. But it fits my needs and I expect it will last me for a long time. I recommend this as a good value for the money.

Very nice binder, holds a lot of paper. It doesn't have much in the way of accessory places inside, but if you aren't interested in that, this Is a good choice. It has one corner pocket to slide a page or two into -- but it does close with a zipper which for me was important. Material is nice, looks like it will last. I will be using this to keep all my study materials for the classes I teach and it's already filled with tabs and ready for use. Very nice pricing I thought.

Nice looking professional binder. I was looking for something fancier than your typical 3 ring binder to make a commemorative binder of my son's school work from all the years for his high school graduation. I liked that you can zip it closed. Upon receiving it, the rings do not measure 2 inches. They measure 1.5. I have not been able to find anything larger that is like this. I may order more to hold all of his stuff since i do not want to thin his school work down anymore!!

Does what it is suppose to. Wanted a copy of my old one which is softer on the outside and a richer colour but this product is also good for the money.
