It's roomy, the kids I work keep saying look at all the space. The downside would be the depth is such most of the kids are spilling some sand out. Overall, very nice and functional.

Beautiful and made for wet sand play. Fills nicely with 25 pounds of sand.
This is a beautiful wet sandplay sand tray—standard dimensions for sandplay therapy. I used about 50 pounds of play sand to fill it and noticed that it’s over-full with 50. I put 25 pounds of the sand into my second dry tray and it was the perfect amount of sand for each. So if you get this tray, I would start out with 25 pounds of sand and then adjust from there.

Catch basin for water fountain
We filled it with sand and use it as a catch basin for a very tall water fountain that splashes just a little. Added some mini bonzai tools...looks amazing.
