NO BOX KNIFE NEEDED
Another great gift for husband, My husband is a DIY guy, he uses a lot of wire, so he needed a safe (no box cutter) way to strip the scrap wire to remove the plastic coating. This machine does just that, its fast and easy. I can even do it. GREAT machine at a GREAT price.

Waste of time and money
This machine is full of design flaws that make it difficult to use efficiently.The feed rollers slip apart. Wire jacket scraps will often feed back into the rollers and jam them.Wires will often slip out from under the cutting knife even after adjustment.Wires will often slip into the motor cooling fan because it is not properly protected.Leaks gear oil constantly.Dealing with these issues makes this stripper slower than manual stripping.
