A 12 pound ice block is huge. I usually fill the mold halfway to make 6 pound ice blocks for my fishing cooler. The size and shape of 6 pound ice blocks that I make with this 12 pound ice block maker is perfect for my needs.

Great ice holder! I am using it to store crushed ice in my freezer. Before I found this, the crushed ice would freeze together and had to be broken apart with an icepick. Now it is easy just to bend the silicone container and the ice comes apart quickly and easily.
