Excellent Value and Accuracy
I just got this rifle today, mounted an Sig Buckmaster 3x12x44 with medium high Monstrum mounts. I pumped it to 2100 PSI with the Pinty hand pump from Amazon which is very good quality. It is a chore once you get get past 2000 PSI FOR MY 64 year old out of shape 190 pound body with a heart condition. I need a cheap HP compressor next I guess. But, the accuracy at 18 yards is incredible. I’m shooting H&N Barracuda 21.14 Gr pellets and putting them in the same hole. The H&N Hornets 16.20 Gr did not work in the 10 shot magazine. A little too long. I tried some RWS Superdome 14.5 Gr but it was not accurate at all with these. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. Here are the pros and cons so far with an out of the box, 60 or more shot experience. Pros: Light weight and extremely ergonomic shooting position especially with the cheek well positioning. With medium high scope mounts I just barely see the moderator at lowest magnification with a 44 objective scope. The sound level is lower than the Hatsan 95 I returned for inaccuracy but I have not shot it a full power. The fill probe was included and plugged right into the Pinty hand pump quick disconnect. Even at the low pressure I was shooting at, I got a full 18-20 consistent shots before repumping. Extremely accurate for short to medium range shooting. I think with sufficient PSI this gun could be accurate to 40 yards. It’s a PCP that is accurate, powerful, and under $300. Its barrel, at least, is made by BSA in the UK and is cold hammer forged rifled. BSA is known for mid to high tier air guns for decades. A tripod is available from Gamo that doesn’t need a picatiny rail. Quick disconnect fill probe is included and fits the quick disconnect on the Pinty hand pump. Thumb hole stock with recoil pad. Zero recoil like most PCP’s. 10 shot magazine that is simple to load and insert. Cons Expensive additional magazines ($50) Must cock the bolt beyond the click of the hammer engaging or risk a jam in feeding. Only happened once but be aware when cocking the bolt to pull it all the way back. An optic is required for this rifle. It has no easy way to mount fixed sights. Polycarbonate stock but it decreases the weight so it could also be a Pro. It is fixed regulated but does have power adjustment for the hammer spring for tuning the available power, though I have not done this. Summary Great value for a sub$300 PCP air gun! I would replace it if it was stolen or destroyed somehow. It is extremely accurate for this price range. I am very happy with the value this gun brings considering the accuracy, ergonomics, power, weight, and quality for this price point. Buy it!

Excellent entry level PCP at a very affordable price
This is a very high quality precharged pneumatic airgun. It is manufactured in the BSA plant in Birmingham England and has a hammer forged barrel known for exceptional accuracy. Don't confuse this airgun with other Gamo airguns of dubious quality. I purchased this Urban to replace a very nice Diana RWS 34P .22. I was not able to shoot consistently good groups with the Diana after attempting to do so for four years. I am one of those people who cannot shoot a breakbarrel spring airgun accurately and was advised to try a PCP. Wow! It was a night and day difference. My first ten shot group at 17 yards in my basement range measured .155". That's what I call accurate. The best I was able to shoot with my Diana was 1.5" to 2" at 25 yards. I needed an airgun capable of grouping 1", or less, at 25 yards in order to dispatch harassing sparrows from my bluebird nesting boxes. The Urban exceeds that requirement with no problem. I am hoping to get outside when the weather permits and shoot at longer ranges to 50 yards. I was able to get out on one nice day and shoot a 10 shot group at 30 yards measuring 1/2". The Urban has all the attributes I really wanted. It is light weight, compact, does not require an artillery hold, and is very accurate with JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13g pellets. Some reviewers are saying it is not backyard friendly because it is noisy. I don't find this to be true, and in fact, it is quieter than my Diana 34. I have only had the Urban for about a month and I have dispatched seven starlings and three sparrows. One sparrow was shot at 35 yards off from a nesting box. I did not buy an expensive high pressure hand pump to fill the Urban. I bought a Taousa pump for $85 and it does the job just fine. It takes a little effort to achieve the 3000 psi fill but it's very doable and I'm 71. That fill will give you 30 good shots before requiring a refill. If you want a high quality, accurate PCP airgun at a very reasonable price, you cannot go wrong with the Gamo Urban. I love mine so far. It's a tool that really gets the job done. 4/23/18 Update: I did not care for the long creepy second stage trigger. I replaced the 2.5mm x 8mm long adjusting screw with a 2.5mm x 10mm long screw. That completely eliminated the creep on stage two and the trigger is awesome now. 12/11/18 Update. The Urban has been excellent for my pesting this spring and summer. I dispatched over 20 starlings and several sparrows and gophers. My bluebirds fledged out two broods this spring and any sparrows that came in to harass them were soon removed with the Urban. I rarely missed a pest with the Urban. One note, I bought a compact UTG 3-12x44mm SWAT scope for the Urban, in keeping with the light weight. I had to order a set of BKL offset rings in order to achieve an acceptable eye relief. This combo is super. Still loving the Urban PCP.
