Really good product! With a tip on how to use
Works really well. I read the reviews/complaints before purchasing, and here's what I discovered. Yes, it's not an "exact" cut [at least it's not on pills without a score mark], but it's dang close IF you do the following: place as many pills as you want to cut at a time (I did 5--see photo), and secure them by tightening the wheel. Here's the crucial part: maintain light pressure to keep the wheel tight AS you close the lid to cut the pills. This keeps the pills tight against the arms, especially as the blade moves and passes through them, keeping them from wobbling around. When they wobble around, you have a greater chance to not cut them in near-exact half because the blade will push the arms apart ever so slightly. This photo is literally the last of 300 pills, and the blade still cut them just fine. Yes, there's powder and small chunks that can build up, and I dumped it out every couple of cuts onto a paper towel. Would buy again.

Great quality, easy to use, and love the color!
This pill cutter works really well. It’s super easy to use and cuts both small/tiny pills and larger pills cleanly without crumbling. I also love that it’s adjustable and can split multiple pills at once, which saves so much time when managing medications. The blade is sharp and precise, and the pills stay secure while cutting. Bonus points for the color — it’s actually cute and doesn’t look like a boring medical tool. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something reliable and easy to use!

Cuts small pills well, but product didn't last long
I bought this because I needed something that would cut small pills in half. This item was great for that and cut the pills perfect without any mess. The price is great and functionally, it is easy to use and it closes easily. After using the product for approximately a month, the top snapped off. Other than this, this is a great product.

Best pill cutter I’ve found!
All the other splitters I’ve had broke within a short period of time, this splitter is adjustable so works with larger pills, easy to clean and seems to be better quality from what I’ve had before. I recommend this splitter if you have to split pills on a regular basis, lots of use.

Why did I not look for this product sooner?
I have been prescribed a very small pill that I am required to cut in half to take one half in the morning and the other half at night. My pharmacy gives out free pill splitters when you ask for them. I have used their pill splitters in the past for larger oblong pills without any difficulty so when I read that I needed to cut the tiny pill in half, I wasn’t concerned. Well, I should have been. The pill is so small and getting it just right in the center of the given pill splitter was hit and miss. I frequently had one side considerably larger than the other side. And many, many times, the thinner side would split into bits. I usually assemble a month’s worth of my medications at one sitting into four week-sorted pill containers that make taking my meds foolproof. But I was spending more time splitting the small pills into equal portions than I spent sorting an entire month’s worth of all my medication. I gave up on the pill splitter that I was given through the pharmacy. I tried using a sharp knife. I tried using my super sharp and very small detailed crafting scissors. I tried my Exacto knife. I finally thought that there must be a better pill splitter on the market so I went hunting for one. This pill splitter, with the adjustable wheels on the side to grip the tiny pills assured me that I was going to get a pill perfectly split down the middle with no crumbled bits to contend with. And no portions either flying across the table or falling out of the bottom of the splitter onto the floor. I am also very happy that I can fit multiple pills into the splitter at once instead of having to very careful cut a single pill at a time. It is amazing! I just sat down and cut the entire bottle of little pills in equal halves in just a few minutes time. I can now have the halves ready to dispense for the month like I do the rest of my medication. My only regret is that I didn’t know this thing existed until just recently. I have wasted time on those darned pills for over ten years! Using this new splitter had them ready to go within about five minutes, cutting evenly through 9 pills in one push! Amazing. I highly recommend this splitter, especially for very small pills!

Does what it's supposed to do
It's ok. It does cut multiple pills at once which is a game-changer and works well with smaller sized pills. My only issue is that if you don't lie it flat, the pills can spill out at the top where the hinge is when the device is closed because there is a big gap. The pills may come out when opening it back up or if it shifts in a drawer. I sometimes need a whole or a half tab so I tend to keep my half-tabs in the device, in a drawer, which is how I noticed it. I'm guessing most people may not do that, but it's something to note. Overall, it's compact, cuts well, and opens and closes smoothly, which was a problem with other devices I've used.
