Gran Lattissima by De'Longhi, White

This is a high quality Nespresso machine. While some coffee drinkers scoff at anything that is not hand ground and individually pulled expresso, the rest of us just want a good cup of coffee with little fuss. This machine fits the bill; and I personally like the variety of blends Nespresso and its compatible capsules offer; I'd have to have a dozen bags of coffee at home to get even close. I've also been a long term Nespresso fan, and still using my original Cube that is now 10 years old and still making great coffee. I also like that it uses the original capsules, since there are alternatives at various price points, compared to the proprietary Verto. It offers multiple different styles, with the built in frother adding to the versatility and choices. It also has several settings for the amount of coffee made, so you can do everything from an expresso shot to an Americano. The frother is removable, so you can keep the milk fresh between uses. One tip the lady at the Nespresso store where I bought gave me was to remove and clean the soft plastic hoses inside the milk frother and leave them out as the cold can cause issues with them if left for an extended period in a refrigerator. I like the convenience and versatility of this machine. It is well built and I am looking forward to using it for a long time. As for value, it depends on what you want. Nespresso and its licensees make a range of products at various price points, all of which deliver the same coffee, just have fewer bells and whistles. If you want everythig, this is the machine that delivers it.

I purchased the Nespresso Gran Latissimo for various reasons - 1)easy to use with coffee pods, 2)automatic drink selection, with and without milk,3) awesome price -48% off the price of a new machine. Now for the bad, the machine was a used model which arrived in a plastic bag inside an Amazon brown box,, but very well padded. They luckily sent a copy of the manual because you’ll need it to set it up and start using it. When I called Amazon customer service to inquire about the warranty that’s when I became upset “no warranty, no returns” no where did it say no warranty on the Amazon site. I think had I known this I would just have ordered the new unit at full price but had a 2yr warranty on my purchase. Amazon needs to be more transparent that they are selling used unit through a vendor and they have no warranty. I feel like I was deceived by Amazon. Could have gotten one for less on FB Marketplace, there are numerous for around half on what I paid Amazon. I’m lucky that the machine powered on and I’ve brewed about 5 drinks w/o an issue but for $340 I would have liked to know there was no warranty on the item and allowed me to make the decision if I wanted to risk my money on an open box unit or pay full price w/the full 2yr manufacturer warranty.

Don’t hesitate ~ I love my machine!

I wish I would have realized that the writing/directions to use are written so small, I had to either take a pic & look on my phone to enhance it or use a magnifying glass. Written by a 52 y/o.

Do not buy this item. I had my Lattisima Plus for over 10 years and from time to time I had issues with the Frother but nothing like this item. Just 3 months in this machine does not Froth properly. I got on with support and they told me I would have to pay for a new frother even though I know that is not the issue. It is the machine itself as the frother has hardly anything coming out. Nespresso knows they have this issue as I see so many with the same issue yet they are not immediately replacing the item this will be the last Nespresso product I ever buy.

A vast improvement over the last model !! Better foam and more menu choices We love it! Worth the expense!llo
