Good quality
Good quality charcoal sticks. I find myself picky on the charcoal bar sticks I use and this is one of the nice ones I have used so far. Will sure be a repeat buyer soon...

Missing 6 sticks
I haven't even tried them out yet. I am just very disappointed with the fact that all white ones and gray ones are missing. lack of quality (quantity in this case) control.

Nice set for hobbyist artists
I'm not an advanced charcoal artist by any means so there may be flaws I'm not knowledgable enough to catch, but in my opinion these are very nice charcoal sticks. They work well for me and don't break unless I want them to. They're smooth and rich without any of the scratchy bits I've had trouble with in cheap sets before. The variety of hardnesses provides a nice toolset to experiment with different marking and shading techniques and I appreciate the inclusion of white charcoals as well. I know this is a sign of being over 40, but I also really like the box they come in. It's a nice box and it does a good job of protecting and housing the sticks while keeping them from covering everything else in my art drawers with black dust.

Instant Hit For Charcoal Artists
This is a nice pack of charcoals for artwork that have varying weights and colors - fantastic assortment for a few projects. Easily blends, and the variety of hardness is great for the intermediate artist that is learning charcoals as a medium. These will last for quite a few large projects and the box they come in is sturdy enough to keep them until they're used up.
