I had my previous highend straighteners for 2 yrs and was gutted when they broke. At £450 I expected them to last far longer as I only use for 5 mins each day.I ordered these and felt really sad as I knew I shouldn't expect a lot for the money £40. I was so very wrong!Positives: arrived quickly, look stylish, have own bag and clips, heat up incredibly quickly, solid quality, amazing to straighten my thick hair leaving it soft and shiny.Negatives: noneIf you order these straighteners you certainly won't regret it, I would put them up there with the more expensive high end straighteners anyday. Finally found the right flat iron -- who knew it would be such a Herculean task!! Dual voltage,yes. Smooth when pulling through "old" coarse long hair, yes. Locks, yes. Heats quickly and has adjustable heat, yes. Temp indicator on top, yes. PRETTY and COMFORTABLE to handle. Weight - average ... not light but not heavy either. I am very happy to recommend. I will add the following:For me, too long and "heavy" for carry-on travel which is disappointing but all you have to do is look at the webpage measurements so it was not a surprise in my case. Checked baggage - no problem. The cord is ROUND ~ have no seen that on electronics since my grandmother was ironing lol, however it doesn't make too much of a difference when using, just "odd". A grey thick fabric bag is provided - what would have really MADE this purchase, is rather a silicone mat or padded storage bag instead. All in all a good purchase.
