35mm Hawkeng Plasterboard/Rigid Insulation Fixing Washers, Nylon 6, non rust

I bought this product to use along with 4x40mm screws to hold Kingspan boards onto my horsebox GRP walls.I wanted to use these so I could take the boards down easily and avoid the use of an adhesive.Using an impact driver to drive the screw into the GRP through the insulation it holds the insulation flat and strong onto the wall just like an adhesive would. I used 6 of these to hold up a 2.4x1.2m board.Strong plastic, good pressure distribution. Would buy again if I need some more.

Excellent for installing insulation. Had to lay down a lot in the eaves and loft as the place we got had none in place! Couldn’t have it with today’s energy prices! Holds it in place wonderfully. Not too sure about plasterboard as per the ad’s suggestion but if you’re going to be putting some insulation in, get a bag of these, makes the job a treat and it will stay in place solidly. They don’t come with any screws so make sure to get these yourself.At 8p per washer or less depending on the size of the pack you order, it’s a good value for the job.

The Hawkeng 35mm Nylon washers are a pack of 100 flush-fit washers, making them handy for fixing various boards. They're 35mm in diameter and can be easily fixed with standard 3.5mm or 4.2mm bugle head drywall screws.These washers work well with plasterboards, thermo tile backer boards, gypsum boards, composite boards, and more. They're not suitable for cement or hardback boards, though. When fixed into rigid substrates like plasterboard or soft timber, they're only 1.5mm deep, making them great for tiling or plastering over.Great value and the won't rust.

These 35mm Hawkeng washers do exactly what they should: they should: they are very strong, and they can’t rust. I tried to break one with my bare hands and I couldn’t.Do be aware of the shape; they need to be able to embed themselves centrally into whatever you are fixing so there has to be some give and they do have a very small depth which needs to be covered over by your finish.

Washers to hold up plasterboard - sit out a little from the board but can be skimmed over.Not made from metal so they will not rust.Do the job I got them for.

Feels fairly good quality and did the job I intended to use them for.These are excellent for fitting insulation boards.They spread the load very evenly, reducing the chances of boards coming adrift.Time will tell how well they hold up
