Beautiful quality! Larger than expected!

This was larger than I thought it would be and I'm NOT complaining about it. I love gems and crystals, and this was just a. Really pretty addition.

I was pleasantly surprised that my rock actually looks like the product picture. Nice deep blue, plenty of interesting layers, and a slight glittery sparkle from the dark grey lines.

Stone is very good size and weight but not as pink as pictured.

The kid loves it. The polish is exceptionally well done.

On the website, it is bright red, but when we received it, it turned out to be brownish red, and we were kind of disappointed about that.

If you simply look at the stone in white light, it appears blue, because it scatters blue light the same way how the atmosphere does, which makes our sky appear blue during the day.If you look at a lamp through the stone, the lamp appears yellow, same how the sun looks yellow when you look at it through the atmosphere, because some blue light is outscattered away from a white light source and you end up with what remains (yellow). If you rotate the stone sideways, the light source will appear more red, same way how the sun looks more red during the sunset, because the light takes a longer path and even more blue light is outscattered, along with some green light (so only red remains).Apart from being a great physics toy, it's also hefty, feels good to handle and looks nice.

I thought they would be at least as big as your your finger. They don't even tell you what they are?? I haven't a clue for some.

Stones look very nice and well polished. Gave all stones a nice soap and water bath. No dyes leaked onto white cloth. Would recommend, good value for money.
