I have used this power adapter for about a week so far. It is used to power 8 hd-sdi sec. cams. It seems to work well, but there are a few concerns that I have about the product. When the cams infrared sensors turn on at night, which normally would cause an increase in amperage required, I notice that the adapter gets really hot. I checked the temp with an infrared thermometer and measured between 90 and 120 degrees of which I thought was somewhat high. Now of course in the daytime it goes down to about 80-90 degrees. Now right before writing this review, before the infrared turn on the adapter completely shut down, the red power led went off and my screen went blank showing video loss. I am hoping that it last and I won't have to replace it soon. So I can only rate it 3 stars for now. Will keep you posted.

This is a great power supply for my home security system, I've ordered this before and there hasn't even been a hint of failure, this is my second one, I'm planning on using for another residence . The ones they sell with the kits are of poor quality and only last about a year. This one I've been using is about 2 years now, that's why I'm buying it again for a new installation. The delivery is quick and the company bends over backwards to make sure your happy with your merchandise. I do recommend it if your looking for a power supply, I would buy it again.

I purchased one and it did not work, the light to say it had power did not even come on, so I returned it and bought a second one and same thing. I will be returning it. Their security cameras work fine though. The company contacted me about the issue I had. They sent me a third supply free of charge and informed me they were going to check the rest of their product for defects. The new adapter is working just fine.

This thing died just a little after my return window. It's over sized for the 8 zone camera that I used it for. Getting nothing but noise out of it and it powers up when it needs to now...Update:Eweton sent a replacement unit. Great customer service upon me reaching out to them, hopefully the new unit lasts a long time now.

I used it to power 3 network devices: router, switch, PoE adapter.Each were originally powered by individual 1.5A adapters, making the total load <4.5AThis adapter is rated at 6A, but after 14 months began to fail at loads over 2-3A.

I saw some negative reviews, but I needed a multiple output power supply just like this so I gave it a try. Mine works perfect, absolutely no issue. I am powering a series of LED lights.

This lasted about 6 months before it began to signs of failure. The failure resulted in the video feed cutting out due to power failure on various cameras in my system on a regular basis. I had to disconnect the individual power cord from the video and reconnect to fix. The failure was happening at least one camera a day, often more. I corrected the problem by purchasing another power supply unit.

So far so good! Haven't had any RFI from this power supply. I tried using a different power supply and it was terrible... (wavy horizontal lines etc from the cameras connected to it) but this one seems solid. The cameras using this are producing a clean signal now. I hope it lasts!

Probly good for 2 or 3 cameras
