The turning tools are nice.
Over all the tools are ok. Only issue is the boring bars are 10mm which is not 3/8ths. The bars do not fit in my 3/8ths tool holder, .037" matters.

Nice selection of common lathe tooling for bench lathes
The set included everything you need for most common metal lathe work, left and right hand tools for turning and facing, left and right hand bore bars, appropriate inserts and Allen wrenches all nicely packaged. 3/8 inch shanks and bar diameters are sized for the typical bench lathe Great value.

Okay starter kit for a small lathe
You get a lot for your money here. You get seven shanks as well as two reversible inserts per shank. There are no instructions in the kit at all, so I suggest going to the item listing, copying the diagram to your clipboard, saving that and then printing it to keep with the kit so you know what goes with what and what tool is intended for what type of operation. The inserts fit well in the shanks, but the machining on the shaft of the shank (where it clamps into your toolholder) was pretty rough on the set I received. Lots of little nicks and irregularities, which I will have to go after with a file in order to ensure good contact with the toolholder. The filing will ruin the finish, which is a bummer. If you're just getting started with a 10" or smaller hobbyist type lathe, this would be an okay place to start. You're getting a good variety of cutters for the price. But just understand that the kit may require you to do some cleanup that really should have been taken care of at the factory.
