It worked perfectly for my new TiVo setup
It worked perfectly for my new TiVo setup with cable modem and tuning adapter. I have the -3.5 going to my cable modem and the first -7 to the tuning adapter. The second -7 goes to POE filter and then o a 2-way Moca splitter. One feed goes to the Roamio and the other to the Mini. It was more difficult dealing with TWC than re-wiring the house! I didn't use the provided mounting screws since they usually just rust within a year, I used some coated pressure treated lumber screws. I know, WRONG application, but the the coating seems to stop the adjoining metal corrosion. I've used them before in similar applications and as long you don't over tighten and rub the coating off then you should have a rust free screw for years to come. I used the green wire off some 12g well pump wire to ground it all.

An excellent unbalanced splitter.
Pros: works perfectly; very well constructed; small size; inexpensive Cons: none No need to purchase a more expensive splitter, this one does the job. I used it for a cable modem and 2 cable TV runs. Signal strength on the modem is just as expected with this unbalanced splitter.

Worked for TV but not for modem.
Worked with TV and STB (even on demand), but stopped standard cable modem (Motorola Surfboard) from being able to achieve an upstream link. It wasn't because the signal was too low due to the split as I was using the splitter to drop the signal level for the modem since it was too high (9 dbmv). Replacing the splitter with a 10db attenuator worked fine, so something in the splitter caused the modem to not be able to connect properly. Running the modem off of the two-way antronix splitter did work, however (but signal was still a bit too high). I was however, able to use an antronix 4-way splitter (all splitters bought via Amazon from the same vendor at the same time), and the 4-way splitter allowed the modem to connect properly. Since the 4-way has a 7 db loss like two of the three ports on the 3-way splitter, it will work well as a substitute. I just don't know if there is a reason for the 3-way not working with the modem (by its internal design) or if it's actually defective in that regard.
