No, the bottle's are not sealed when you purchase them.

To get the best results when using the Nioxin 3 part system it is essential that all 3 products are used as each one has its own job to do. The Cleanser Shampoo rids dirt, debris, environmental impurities, cleaning hair follicles out freeing them from being clogged and deep cleans the scalp. The Scalp Therapy Conditioner stimulates the scalp to promote healthy hair growth along with putting moisture back into the hair and scalp. It also provides a healthy environment to accept the Scalp and Hair Treatment. Q: I ordered for natural hair and my hair has highlights is it ok to use?

This is a really great question I am happy to assist you with. Natural hair is going to be hair that has no color, perm, relaxers or lighteners. When you highlight your hair that would be chemically treated hair which is going to be our Systems 5 or 6. 5 for lightly thinning and 6 for progressively thinning which means you can see your scalp in the mirror without moving your hair around. Our System 6 has a UV protectant in it to assist with protecting the scalp when you are out in the sun to avoid sunburn. That is the only difference in the formulations. So no you would not want to use System 1 or 2 you would want to choose System 5 or 6 due to the highlights in your hair.
