it's a nice stone
It's a nice stone but it's substantially lighter than I would like for amethyst, but it's definitely an amethyst, but it's just personal preference it's a very pretty stone and worth what I paid for it,

Birthday gift
My daughter is afraid of bridges and traffic and has anxiety attacks, I gave her this stone to keep in her pocket or bag so she could touch it in her hand when she felt the need ,she said she holds it in her hand and it feels warm and soothing . She keeps it with her and says it helps

Tiger eye?
I have ordered from this vendor before and was very happy with most of the orders. However, there were a few other times I was skeptical of authenticity like for the malachite and turquoise stones. This time I ordered a tiger eye. However, there were none of the characteristic striations and variations in light that are typical of tiger eye. It just looks like a polished brown rock. See photo.
