I am just under 5'4" and currently, wear a size medium or 6-8 but I am busty, 37DD, so I sometimes have to get a large or xl in tops depending on the style and fabric. After looking at their sizing chart and because these are Asian sizes and usually run small I ordered the size large. The nightgown fit in the bust, the straps felt a little long for me but they are adjustable so that problem turned out to not be a problem at all. The skirt is a little fuller and the length is a little longer on me than baby doll nighties usually are, because of going up in size for my bust and because of my height. It hit just above my knee more like a short nightgown on me. But I liked the length and fullness of the skirt. I felt it added to the charm and gave me a different look. It is very comfortable to wear. The polyester sheer fabric, lace, and ribbons are all very soft and flowy. The ribbon is shiny so it adds some shimmery accents to the gown. The lace makes up the bodice and trims the bottom of the nightie traveling up one side filling in where a side slit in the gown would be. The ribbon trims the bottom of the nightie and ties in a bow at the top of the slit. I put my nightgown in a lingerie bag and wash it on gentle cycle with detergent for delicate and they lay flat to dry. You can also hand-wash or dry clean this nightgown. I purchased this nightie at a discount in exchange for my honest an unbiased review.
