Wasp Destroyer
Awesome product. It is well made and works well. Compared to the original product, this is definitely an upgrade that is worth the cost. The fiber optic sights are bright and easy to see, unlike the sights on the original. It is powerful enough to knock a wasp down around two to two and a half feet away. The gold and black color scheme is nice, as well. It is a fun toy that does a good job. We use it around the house instead of Wasp Spray to keep pets safe from the spray. If you have pets and wasps, it is the perfect tool for the job.

Fun and efficient
YES! A fun must-have for the summer on the porch. We ended up getting two so both my husband and I have one. Now when inlaws come over they enjoy "playing" with them as well. Now the unfortunate summer pests don't seem to be such a disadvantage to trying to enjoy the outdoors. Super efficient, works great. Tip - don't overfill the "ammo," and they do take a bit of strength to cock.

You do not need to be a Samurai with the fly swatter to kill flies
At 3FT, it's stuns the fly, doesn't kill but gives plenty of time for a finishing blow. I test shot myself in the foot about 10 inches away and it stings! My shoulder kind of hurts, so when I pump the action, it creates discomfort since you need a good pull. The sights are pretty accurate around 3FT. Takes normal granular table salt, and when you shoot it looks like 10-15 individuals salts that come out, so you have plenty to shoot for each refill. The build is pretty nice and sturdy for a plastic gun. It's awesome, get one! Build quality: Strudy Accuracy: The sights are accurate Speed: Comes out very fast, flies will not have enough time to react if you do not miss.

The Fly TERMINATOR!
Okay this thing is cool. It works as people say it does, Put some table salt in the top , cock the gun and fire away!. It works up to about 30 feet, and if you're skilled enough, yes you can blast bugs out of mid air. It absolutely takes out flys, but heartier skinned bugs may not die (just be blasted away or stunned). PRO TIP, If you are having a hard time cocking the gun, use one hand to pull the cocker back while the other hand (usually holding the handle and trigger) pushes forward at the same time, makes it a bit easier. Stiff trigger for whatever reason. You WILL probably get a tired finger or pumping arm if you kill more than about 6 or 7 flies in a few minutes. Not a HUGE deal, but just an FYI.

Good depending how you use it
Overall I would say nice item. If the range was longer I would probably put 5 stars. The fact it can use cheap iodized salt is nice, it looks to be made for it because pump action looks like it can only pull in fairly small grains. It can hold a pretty good amount of salt, which is good. I read that you can test how it fires on tinfoil. I learned by just putting my hand out about 3 feet and firing into my hand, so that will sting a bit but you can get a good sense of how the salt shoots or sprays out like a shotgun. So overall after using a few days I'll say this: Long range might be disappointing, so the sights probably don't matter a whole lot. Shotgun does a decent salt spray with decent power. Close range is more effective and you almost don't even have to aim. This gun is way more fun than a fly-swatter, it's enjoyable to use and I actually am disappointed when there aren't more bugs to shoot. Not every fly you hit will die even at close range, the shot seems to have variable power, so you might have to shoot a fly 5 times, or you might kill it with a fast piece of salt even at range. So I think the main benefit is it's still better and way more fun than a fly swatter, and if you shoot a fly enough times it will die.

Love, love, love this thing!!!!
It's so fun going outside to shoot down little critters in your backyard that bothers me: spiders, ants, spotted lantern flies, etc. You name it! Enough said, this little toy/bug exterminator will keep you entertained for hours.

One of the best purchases I've ever made!
I absolutely love my Bug-A-Salt! In the summer months I walk my house like a soldier just blasting away flies. You can make quick work of 20-30 flies with this thing in about 5-10 minutes. My only problem is it works too good and then I'm sad when I run out of flies to blast 🤣 If you're a gun lover and hate bugs invading your personal space I would grab this ASAP and I can almost guarantee that you'll keep it within arms reach when relaxing at home. I've had this for several months now and it still works as good as the day I bought it. Lightweight and easy to use. And since it only uses table salt and nothing else it's the cheapest insecticide you'll ever find.
