Awesome Wee Torch - Great Value
This torch is really high quality for the cheap price. So satisfying to hold and simply pull a trigger for it to fire out a perfectly sized stream of blue flame. Zero leaks, fills easily - only takes 2 seconds, so you'd be "reloading" this torch a fair bit but some like me would consider that a plus. Adds a bit of fun to it and keeps the design nice and small. Also I have freakishly disproportionate huge hands and the grip easily fits my whole hand comfortably, fantastic measurements on this. Build quality is impressive. It does not light up near the lowest setting but that's no problem really - works as a bonus safety feature to make sure no negligent discharge! Flame can get impressively long and very controlled! Love it!PS: Forgive my red & dry hands, still recovering from a burn. Thanks so much!

Excellent Quality
The pistol grip works well and feels solid in hand. The flame is strong and consistent, making it great for lighting cigars or small tasks like starting a fire. The design is cool without feeling gimmicky. It’s a bit larger than I expected, so it’s not the most portable option. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase—it does its job and looks cool while doing it. It does eat a ton of butane but that's to be expected with the kind of flame it produces

Pretty good torch
Works very well uses more butane than normal but that’s expected with 2 flames

Is Fire.
Got this as a Christmas gift last year for my step dad who is a big hunter and 'man things' hobbyist. He has everything and most of the time when shopping for him I don't know what to get him that he doesn't already have on top of the fact that we have a big family, so all the other siblings are always getting him little novelty gifts also. I chose this lighter gun thingamabob and he actually, genuinely liked it. And I know this, because a year later he is still using it when he needs a torch lighter for something instead of just sitting in his little storage closet with all the other knickknacks everyone else has gotten him over the years. I think the big selling point on this for him, aside from it looking like a gun, is the torch/flame is actually pretty massive. Shoots out pretty far. Perfect for things like fireworks as he has put it. So anyhow. Yeah. Looks like a novelty. But also good for practical use case scenarios also. Good little gift to get for someone like him that he'll actually use.

It doesnt work
I purchased the Butane Torch Lighter Gun with high hopes for various kitchen and DIY projects, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment. From the start, it wouldn't hold the butane gas properly, leading to constant leaks and an inability to maintain a steady flame. The adjustable flame feature sounded promising, but it was useless given the gas issue. The safety lock and ergonomic design are nice in theory, but they don't matter if the torch doesn't function as intended.Overall, this torch failed to deliver on its basic functionality. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, as it's simply not reliable. One star for the concept, but it needs serious improvement to be usable.

Not so fast here. I gave it a good test. Read my reviews to the end.
The box Butane Torch came in is very impressive. Inside, looking very much like a pistol, was the torch, several separately packed red plastic pieces, uses unknown. And, the instructions. No, to be accurate there are limited instructions on this inexplicable 2" x 2" two-sided sheet. No mention of how to refill (it comesempty, of course). Ace Hardware had a $6 can of butane which I inserted into Butane Torch and held it in until the butane was coming down my hand. I guess it has enough to light it. So I clicked on the Fixed Fire Lock, pulled the trigger, fiddled with the flame adjustment and began thinking of all the times in my hiking and climbing days I wished for a reliable fire starter. Time will tell. Purchased it to light our backyard SOLO Ranger. One key copy point on the box says, "No waste of food materials." Another point says (and I quote right from the box), "Maintain a professional spirit." And this, right on the upper right onthe back side it says, "Insist we like it." There's more. You'll smile.Update on filling and using: bought a can of gas and each time I attempted to fill it, gas leaked on my hands. Flame adjustment is sketchy. It ran out of fuel (no way to tell how much gas you refilled). But when it ignites, it is powerful and gets our SOLO fire going quickly. It DOES look like a real pistol and I keep itwell away from anyone -- everyone. It would be dangerously easy for his to be mistaken for a real pistol. Will keep using it, but caution is advised. It is no toy.Last update. It worked to start 2-3 SOLO fires and the first refill failed and the second resulted ina wet-with-fuel gun (let it dry for a few hours before using) but now it does not work and I believe it isdangerous to refill because the fluid leaks. Conclusion: brilliant (crazy) packaging, no instructions and now no flame. I'm going to look for a different maker. Doubt I can return this.Another update: after filling (no instructions) I have now used it for five straight successful fire-starts. when it gets going it is very powerful and starts our SOLO fires quickly. I am going to add one star. Definitely keep well away from children or stupid people who don't understand how hot this gets in just seconds.

Rugged and Reliable
A very reliable torch. Igniter works great, flame is adjustable and has safety lockout button. Tank holds a reasonable amount of butane, fills easily and the torch is rugged. Nice ergonomic feel, reasonable price and fast efficient service make it five star.I have purchased this item twice.
